Are we going to deny that money are not made in Casinos? Haven't you see how rich men play blackjack for the fun and display of wealth, sometimes they comes in group of friends to challenge each other in that quest to entertain and from their, they proceed to business discussion as well. There are many instances where people discuss dispute between two group who have misunderstanding, these are the benefits of gambling apart from the money opportunity but if you look at it beyond entertainment, there is junk of money that are been made everyday and that's exactly the same reason people keep coming back.

People win and people lost but if we fast track historical winning and losses in the casino database, only few wins but in as much as there are high number of losses and people keep coming signify that even the people that has the loss have also won something else they will not return to the casino again. It is because they have tested some bucks from there is why they still come back to try their luck again but it doesn't show to them again, that's the reality of gambling.

No matter how you preach fun and the entertainment over money, most will not listen because the Casinos are open for businesses, they want to make profit is the same reason why gambler also play to have money but you know they will always disguise that they are there for the fun but infact it's because of the money.

I agree with your opinion because it is true that sports betting really depends on our knowledge insight and experience in various sports and in bets like this we make predictions or guess the results not just risking any money that has been run by the game system in casino.

The definition of entertainment actually has a standard or definite meaning so that whether we win or lose we can get entertainment and although most people think they can use gambling as entertainment when they get results, it is not like entertainment but aims to win or source income.

Those who see gambling as a source of income always end up disappointed about the outcome of their financial life in the long run. I know some sports gamblers will claim that they can analyse matches and predict games accurately but we all know that it is difficult to predict the outcome of sports games. Casino games might be determined by a little percentage of skill but we should always know that the house always wins. Those who see gambling as an insignificant source of revenue are people that enjoy the fun from it.

This has been discussed way too much and I believe there is actually no point in doing that at all because someone would barely change their mind by solely reading such posts or anything and they will still have the same mindset that they've always had. You might school someone regarding gambling and tell them what they should and what they shouldn't do when gambling but at the end of the day, they will just do what they think is the right thing for them.

People don't go by facts or experiences of others but they want to experience it themselves in order to learn, and sometimes, they don't learn even from their own experiences because you may see a gambler lose some money one day and you will see them gambling again the next day without any regrets.

Even if the game is based (luck/chance), the casino still can set up the result. IMO even casino take some edge for themself, recommended game who have better odds for the player is always card game. Well, I'll get to my point, there is one game in the casino where skill matters and can make you money, and that is poker. Then there are other disciplines where skill influences, such as sports betting or horse racing that are not played in casinos, such as physical casinos, although nowadays there are websites that have everything mixed.

Even if the casino game is entertaining, I wouldn’t really say it is. Like if you keep losing money on your gambles, would you still rather call casino as “entertainment” and for fun?

That's pretty basic thing to understand. If you are a gambler, you should know your chance of winning, and the more realistic you are, the better you will be able to employ the right approach. How could you say that you "approach it with the intention of having fun"? How could a person have fun if he or she lost too much money? Yeah, I get your point that they should treat casinos as entertainment and fun, but it will not apply to everybody, and I'm sure the concept of fun and entertainment in casinos is far from happening.
