hope some of you got in on the profitable Bitcrystals mining last night. I started up when the payout was 11 mBTC/MH/day.  It's dropped to 4.2 now, but still good to mine for now.

You should mine the SIA coin. Looks like you have been strux'ed. The strix is not the dominant NVIDIA board out there...

sp - i pm'd you a while back when sia was just starting - and asked if there was a way you could implement the algo into ccminer so that we could solomine sia ...

you didnt respond ...

with the advent of the current miner - i recognized that it would be a great deal of work involved - and probably premature to do so at this juncture of the development of sia ...

but the question remains - CAN you do it? ... even as a private optimized miner? ...

i would be first on the list for that please ...

i would also like to present an issue for your advice ( or any other dev that sees this and knows ) ...

i have just upgraded the test machine to fedora 21 x64 - cuda 7.0-28 and applied the cufft_patch_linux.tar.gz patch ...
compiled your fork of ccminer - and it went through without a hitch - no meddling with the makefile like i had to with cuda 6.5 ...
run the miner on a fresh reboot - and it runs without issue ... until the hashing starts to really get going - then the errors begin ...

cpu validation errors on x11 and quark ... i didnt try any other algo as they are the main two algo we use in thefarm ...

decided to compile tpruvot's version ... the same issues arose ...
decided to compile klaust's version ... would not compile due to c++11 errors ... and i have no idea how to overcome that issue as fedora ( as far as i am aware ) has no support for that particular standard ...

any ideas as to the problem here? ... any advice on how to fix? ...

tanx in advance sp ...

what algo is SIA?

blake2b ...

and requires its own miner ...

been on this coin for a long time - and has a long way to go - but the project is awesome ...

and the dev ( taek ) is always around and improving the coin and project as a whole - like sp does here Smiley ...

Make sure that the nVidia drivers that you have installed support the GTX 900 series cards.       --scryptr

With relase 57 in neoscyrtp itook this error. @sp what's the reason? This rig have 3-750 ti and 2-970. Rigs with just 750ti's working without problem..

Install over old drivers.

970-series only with them works correctly on windows - 10

Anyone with a nice 980ti using ccminer? I mean a non reference one, possibly an Asus strix or Gigabyte G1...
I would like to know about the quark hashrate if possible.

Its probably not, I had just gotten use to adding it so it didn't run the 2min. benchmark each time it was started.
I've removed it to see if there will be any improvement without it. So far looks about the same, starts out with a little higher
khash rate but settles in after its been running a good long while to what you see above, will see if that is the same now without it.
I worked with it a good while last night and at first was getting some booo's as you can see that has been corrected by the accepted counts.

Edit: These are the numbers I am seeing without it but was also seeing these same numbers last night/early morning.
The above number could have been changed by the heat of the day and didn't think to look at the clock speeds to
see if maybe it had down clocked a little and didn't ramp back up after it cooled back down.

Note that for some reason the memory clock is not being pushed to its full speed. Should be 1753Mhz, but the core clock is at
1392Mhz and stock clock for core is 1279Mhz for this card. Boost at work there but not for the memory?

This speed look about normal for a GTX960SSC under these conditions ?
Command line as followed: ccminer.exe -a Quark -o stratum+tcp://quark.ua.nicehash.com:3345 -i 22 -u zxxxxz -p x -d 0 -l 16x24
I set -i to 22 to make the system more use friendly, default was causing a bit of lag while doing other thing, like surfing or open GPUZ tabs.

-l 16x24 shouldn't be necessary? thought that was just for scrypt based algos

Does anyone happen to know the current speed for Neo-scrypt on a 750ti, 960, and 970?

GTX HASH RATES--

I get 180kh/s, 320kh/s, and 510kh/s, respectively, for NeoScrypt.  I do not have a GTX 980.       --scryptr

P.S.  Anyone who wants a game code for "BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT", please PM me.
ok can we have the card instead ?  Grin

No, sorry, the hash it generates goes for bread, beer, and occasional donations.  Yours took 7 days to confirm last time;  blockchain traffic issues.  Pallas might be in line for one if the Axiom algo gets hammered out between the movers and shakers in the Cuda world...    Roll Eyes  I wish I could code better.       --scryptr

P.S.  Anyone who wants a game code for "BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT", please PM me.  The code EXPIRES TODAY, July 31!  I only have one code to give away, and it only works once.  So, the first PM in my message box gets the code.  If it is after midnight, it is too late.  ONE RULE:  You must have posted in this particular thread prior to this post.

The game code is a legitimate promotional code, I earned it, but cannot sell it.  Please send me a PM with "BATMAN" in the subject line.  Thanks!  I'll check my messages at least once an hoour today.       --scryptr
I get around 650kH/s for NeoScrypt on GTX980.  But that's with TDP limited to 150W.  I figure out it's more efficient to run at lower wattage.

I'm working on neoscrypt speedup, currently around 5% hashrate increase.
Beers appreciated ;-)
that's what you need to beat: 850kh/s on 980 200kh/s (but if I have a bad 750ti) and 500kh/s on 780ti

ps: on a bitter sweet note, usually when I submit updates, I usually don't get beers, just devs outsourcing my stuff and eventually getting beers  Grin

Maybe if you poopoo'd less and got drunk more, you'd get more beers.

Anyone upgraded to windows10 ?
can you share your impression especially on the 900 serie.

So far I tested (and went back to win8.1) on 780ti, 750ti and 980
perf of the 750ti and 780ti didn't change much, but for the 980 got huge loss of performance (like 20% on neoscrypt and similar on cryptonight)

Doesn't change anything. If there is a performance difference there, it needs to be unlocked. At least it doesn't hurt hashrates. W8.1 x64 to W10 x64.

I have a 970 and mining Neo. If anything it looks like it minimized GPU utilization spikes. Almost all my GPUs across the board have no fluctuation what so ever. The overall hashrate hasn't really changed though. GPU usage and Power is just flat.

I also have problems remoting into the W10 PC. I may revert it.

BTW looks like Bytecoin is almost worth mining, if only Cryptonote performed better. Cry

Was beta testing but here is what I am curious about since the new driver for DX12 is out.

In the past if you SLI'd say 2 960 4Gb then Windows would only read them as a total of 4GB but now Windows 10 will recognize them as 8GB total memory. It has to be implemented on the developer end though to take effect. Would this help in the few memory heavy algos if ccminer could implement it?
not sure it would help, unless you mine only with one card and even then, the performance in accessing the memory from the other card would be terrible...
did you try mining with your cards ? did you noticed any difference ?

No difference at all. Slight (very) gain with some algos and slight loss on others. I don't have a 980 though it was with 960 and 750ti's.

At the time Windows 10 was having wifi issues so I would only test it on Sundays and the driver for DX12 was not out yet so they all where still buggy drivers.

Will run this Sunday since it is my first day off to be home with the release.
could be only the 980 (heard that the 980ti wasn't even recognized...). I think epsylon didn't notice notice any problem either...
could also be the sli bridge (the sli wasn't activated, but the bridge is always in place... and it was less trouble to downgrade than opening the tower... so...) well I guess I will make another try when nvidia release a new driver...
