perhaps the initial difficulty is wrong.

try the f option

-f, --diff            Divide difficulty by this factor (std is 1) \n\

f.ex -f 0.01

or -f 100

Hi! I need help about something. I was using miner with one gtx 750 Ti and mined FTC (neoscrypt) on GMC pool. It was all perfect until today. I downloaded last version and now miner can't established connection on GMC pool. Settings are same as on previous version. What confuses me is that now older version can't connect. I tried to mine other neoscrypt coins on other pools but miner can't connect. The worst thing is that X11 works flawless, and lyra2 also. I'm confused. Cant find what is causing this problem. I also tried restarting router, miner, turn of firewall but nothing helped. Any advice what may be the cause?

@bensam, if you are running stock cards with stock firmware, the newer version miners will bump the card over the power limit. the 750ti cards, at least, will throttle back the clocks as a protection mechanism.  if you flash the power limit to ~65 watts, it won't throttle anymore.

I'm using 970s with the TDP setting maxed. This only started happening when it got really hot recently. I assume it was a temp issue, so I juice up the fan speed and then the card throttles itself even more. It's really weird. It got cooler again today so, set it back to auto, clock speeds go back to normal.

So something really interesting, with summer here, my miners aren't operating at full speed anymore because of heat on auto fan setting. So I turned it up... But for some reason some of the cards actually end up at lower clock speeds when you turn up the fans?!?!? I still can't figure this out. I assume it has something to do with drawing too much voltage through the card and it throttles itself, but that seems rather stupid. The fans shouldn't draw that much voltage.

When you set the fans back to auto, it pops up to full clock speed for a bit before the card heats up again. So I have ended up setting it at some sort of in between fan speed.

Any guide available to compile ccminer in Windows environment? Smiley
Sure.
Here:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.11179460

Ok so I downloaded V.S and Cuda 6.5 - installed and opened the .sln file.  It reads it - I assume I hit build?  Also, how do I make it a ccminer.exe?  Any further guidance is appreciated.

Thanks - pokeytex
yes, when the build is finished there's a ccminer.exe in the release folder.

Eureka! - I found it - I just compiled my first miner!  Oh and it is working! LOL So far.  I don't know if it is possible to screw it up?
everything is possible  Grin

Where would I find this release folder?

The gpu clock is at around 1200. Standard clocks. only one thread. -g 1

7MHASH mining quark on the 750ti. Private kernal for now.

ok ... so private kernel ...

wish you would say that in the original post sp ... Wink ...

now we know that - we know that theses figures are merely a comparison of what we 'can' get ... not what is available now with the tools we currently have ...

is the kernel available for sale? ...

On a totally unrelated subject, it's been a while since I bought you a beer ;-)

Compiled latest sp commit and my GTX980 is getting 18.8-18.9MH/s in quark algo.  About 300kH/s increased in speed Grin Grin

just few results for new compiled git from sp_ on my poor gtx750 1gb
lyra 1500/1600 1130khs
quark 1500/1575 6030khs
Other algos without improvements comparing to my old records.
win7 64bit, ccminer 32bit, cuda 6.5, driver 353.30

quark on nicehash gives 7-8% rejects with ccminer and 1-2% on sgminer.

nice hashes ...

i dont get that with the 2GB cards ...

but then - i dont overclock either ...

Sad ...

Bro, if you don't OC, you ain't taking much advantage of your system!

agreed ...

BUT - the unfortunate thing is nvidia have NOT implemented genreal oc functionality in linux - especially with the 'lower end' cards like 750ti ... they have kept this functioanlity with the 'higher end' cards ...

for now ...

i would LUV to oc these cards and bring the farm inline with the hashes that i know these cards are capable of ...

but that is not my call - and there is no way we will move to windows ...

so we wait until nvidia pull their heads out their backsides - and support us miners also ...
