Lyra TPB was wrong, i tested 128 when i imported it, but maybe the cpu load was limiting the benefits, 160 seems to give more than 10% on both 750 and 970.

yes. Klaus checked in TPB of 160. I sublitted some more changes@github. 12% faster on a rig with 980,970 and 2 750ti's
it has no influence on the 780ti though, may-be trying to adjust the #number of register would help, I haven't tried though... but I already tried at 128 and 256, made no difference

also, what's the default -i value when one is not specified? I've been testing a few so far and 18.4 seems to be the best of those I've tried so far.
The default "-i" value varies per algorithm.  For x11, it is currently 20.  There is a listing by the author, tpruvot:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1dI1Cc3JhhsA-UdIRlndvQ9huX8FmoJT2TXFDB0wdp54/edit#gid=1086083191
For x11, I get good results with "-i 20.5".       --scryptr

But -i 20.5 sometimes crash on a rig with 6 cards. (out of memory)

Getting 19,130 kh/s on a 6 x EVGA 750ti OC rig with the new version (x11). Very nice!

I am seeing "does not validate on CPU" messages, one every 2-3 minutes or so.

Thanks

Hamsterwheel payment plan-

This sounds interesting.  I have two 6-card 750ti rigs.  DJM34, I'd be willing to point them to your payment address for a crack at running alpha/beta neoscrypt kernels.  My rigs are Ubuntu 14.04.1, 64 bit.  Post something if you are interested.

Time to make a neoscrypt port for NVIDIA. Can we beat the opencl code by WOLF0?

(nicehash)

NeoScrypt    3341   0.2021 GH/s   4.7595 BTC/GH/Day  738%   3.5289 BTC/GH/Day   5.2900 BTC/GH/Day   5.2900 BTC/GH/Day   View orders

now this would be VERY nice ... Wink

i am changing ALL the cards to 750ti OC ( Gigabyte to be exact ) and will be testing it with the initial 11 cards i have currently ...

i will be more than willing to guinea pig and test neoscrypt on these cards the moment you have something out ...

not to sound greedy, but donations are a better incentive than guinea pig  Grin

hehehe ... i know this ...

which is why MY version of 'guinea pig' is to mine FOR you as a donation to the btc address via westhash ( as this is the closest to adelaide australia ) ...

ive done this many times before - and it works ... my entire farm will be pointed to the donation btc address - which usually buys you a beer or two Wink hehehe ...

i think thats better than mining for myself - transferring into my wallet - then transferring into your wallet as a donation ... AND you can keep track of it by watching the progress at westhash ... ( hint Wolf0 just recently ) ...

i mainly mine x11 - which is my preferred algo and the main one for granitecoin - but have no issues setting the farm to the algo that needs doing ... if only we can get a crap load more hashes for nvidia cards with x11 ...

btw - you guys and the work you are all doing is awesome ...

im happy to give details of the farm if you need them ...

Can you give a guess on the hash rate for the 750ti.  Smiley
Once it is written, I will, but right now, it is a bit prematurate

about the supported cards, ive seen yesterday a bunch of new Quadro card made for the office... and all are SM5.0, some with 2GB, some with 4GB and more... But only a few are affordable (<200€) like the K620

http://www.pny.com/nvidia_quadro_k620 ... a bit curious about the perfs Smiley
384cores... that's a little more than half the number of core of the 750ti...
128bit mem bus
32-bit floating point...

I fail to see the interest...  Grin
