24000$ - not bad, it is a good challenge! SP, are you in game?

Nah. I have the fastest miner in the world, best to let the cuda students give it a try..
if the bountyhunters beat my work, I will just improve the speed and add  a 2% fee.

Oh I see so you're more of a black belt consultant

You are so fun! :-)
If only you knew what you are talking about.
I am a consultant who has been coding opensource crypto software (wallets, miners, etc.) since 2013. And opensource in general for more than 20 years.

Gary is a dumbass, not just a asshole. I guess they usually go hand in hand.

There is something to be said about how some of you developers don't really do anything until you're trying to stick it to SP though. That's the only time I see things really move around here. There is definitely something to be said about there being plenty of algos to either make a GPU miner for or optimize and you guys always pick the same one SP does to dump shit on. It's silly that you guys are more motivated by spite then by money.

You should ask why the coin developers create a "new pow algorythm" just by shuffling the same old algos. Then they tell you it's "more efficient", "new generation" or other shit.
If you guys stopped mining and buying those useless clone coins, the "dev race" would be over in a second.
Personally I'm not in a race with sp_, I do what I find more fun and rewarding. I've worked on countless algos that sp_ never touched; I just don't talk about them here.

At least sp_ releases way more stuff than you.

Sorry, not true. Now I will stop bumping this thread just to correct you: think more before posting so that it's no longer needed.

https://h.cash

block explorer

http://hshare-explorer.h.cash

Network (GH/s)
70-100

50 blocks in 28 minutes. (blocktime around 30 sec) Payout 1.6 per block ($12)  ($34 560 to the miners per day?) no. only 25% is pow, so then perhaps around $8640 per day for the miners.

This gives around 0,075 BTC/GHASH day

x14 at zpool is only paying 0.00058btc /GHASH

that's because zpool pays out with an average price code of 80% which does not predict prices well, which is why so many people complain about their "stolen" 20%

It's been verified by numerous different people, myself included, Zpool does not pay out close to what you should be getting. It has nothing to do with their 'prediction' on the site, has everything to do with using a calculator or calculating it manually and verifying it against payouts from the pool. The pool is BS and more then likely skims.

You can look at the same 'shaky' code on Yiimp and the pool pays out pretty much exactly what it estimates.

It doesn't appear that Hshares is worth mining as there are other niche coins that earn more. Seems as though this one was exploited awhile ago when it was under the radar and profitability is already plummeting.

U know the reality is that I know this, but part of me also wanted to give crackfoo the benefit of the doubt..  I see what you're saying though, my own personal experience has led to getting significantly less profits compared to other pools when using zpool.  So I don't disagree at all.

I do disagree about Hshares because technically it's not the MOST profitable at the moment but I sense a major spike in price is just around the corner.  Keep your eye on it.

14.2 GHASH @ yiimp already and they mine with a profit.. (60% of the hash is sp-modded) (1420 gtx 1060 cards with the opensource miner)

http://yiimp.eu  (hsr)

2% to epsylon

284 000 MHASH in fee. That equals to around 47 gtx 1060 cards mining with the opensource miner directly to epsylons pocket.

You already „complained“ multiple times about the money tpruvot earns.
Why don’t you just open a pool yourself? Easy money!

But you should change your attitude first. While everybody is here to make money, I’m fine with paying a fee. And while I could get a lower fee elsewhere, I’m fine with paying 2% on yiimp. Because I get a stable server, a free miner software and a dev who supports open source and is really helpful. Met him in serveral chats, could never complain about his behaviour.  Oh, and he don’t scam me like for example
Zpool does. He also maintains the yiimp code and helps other pool operators now and then, even though it will lower his earnings if there a more pools.

Of course, there a other really nice devs, but tpruvot is the only one with a own pool (that I know).

But wait, I have an even better idea: Just make your miner usable on your pool only and stop whining about others. CWI did it and everybody was fine with it. Sure, their miner war free. But you would make it even better and triple your profits. First, sell your miner, second add a fee afterwards and third, get a fee on your pool. That way, your will surely be an even greater hero for your fans and the nightmare for the big bad farms!
