Will that x14 work with older coins that use x14...should be called x14a?

It's not x14. It's a different algo. You cannot mine HCash with asics. The creator of the opensource ccminer gpu-miner just modified the x14 in ccminer to be able to mine hcash. He should have renamed the algo to -a hcash
Yes he should have.  Smiley  Thx sp
Trying to catch up on 8 months of being away and not being able to mine...only have 8x 750ti's hashing right now.
The 2x 980ti..2x 970..and 1x 1070 are in the closet and I'm not allowed to mine with them yet. Undecided

obviously, they don't care about what u think (and I or whoever) it should be called....
so if their DEV called it x14, stick with it until further notice

nope, its not x14, because I tested using Baikal Giant, nogo.
must be x14a??

it's 14 chained hashing algos, but not the same as in the old x14. Different algos.
Scales good on the gpu, and very profitable right now with my optmized bins..

This seems a newer version of x14, and shall be called x14a , no?

what do you get on the gtx 1070 with the free miner?
11 mh

So my mod is 20% faster. Then it should do 22MHASH on the 1080ti.

Almost? Whhhhhhhhhaat??

The speed on the 1080ti with my private bin is around 20MHASH.

but don't justify the 0.05btc. Need 5 months to recover cost paid.
use FREE miner, mind you this is not yet optimized on overclocking..
