what happened with SPR? I see price jumped (almost tripled) but difficulty also doubled and my earning dropped non-proportionally Sad

I think many miners does the same mistake over and over. Dump for BTC and watch the coin they just dumped skyrocket.. Spreadminer is still very profitable with sp-mod #14.  (0.05btc donation)
(more speed more profit)

Spreadminer #14 sendt to the donators.

- added more speed. (+4% on the gtx 1070)
- fixed rigs with AMD cpu's
- The previous version sometimes had a slower speed at start, and then when opening google chrome the speed increased. This bug has been removed.

Just started a rig with ASUS Strix 1070 OC edition and wow, they are faster than "regular" edition with applied OC! "Built-in" OC rules   Cool
it all depend on cloks, people usually write +100mhz or smthg like this, but it mean nothing, you need to check the actual clock you got in result.
and sometimes not OC version can work almost at the same speed as OC'd with propper settings and give you almost the same hashrate

With the sp-mod pascal #1 You can push the 1060 3gb to 600 if you have samsung memory.

Cryptonight pascal sp-mod #1 is now available. 0.1BTC donation, no fee. Untested on the 1080 and 1080ti beta testers wanted.

Support my work, and recieve faster kernels. pm for details.
With current profit, would be hard to justify $435 for ~10% speed boost. If I had 50 1060s perhaps it would be worth it but would still be long payback. I get ~515 with 1060 3GB +500 mem.

yes. swapped 3 and 4 corrected now. My 1060 6gb cards performs almost the same as the 3gb cards, but depends on the memory type. If you have samsung mem you should be able to reach 600 with max oc, ~550-570 in normal oc. This algo use little power. 50% tdp.

I am preparing the cryptonight sp-mod pascal for the donators.

Preresults:

gpu 0: Gigabyte g1 gaming (micron memory)
gpu 3: Gainward 1060 (samsung memory)
gpu 4: Inno3d 1070 (samsung memory)

I have also tested on the 980ti (g1 gaming) and get around 700h/s
With max oc I get 814H/s with samsung memory cards (gtx 1070).

1080, 1080ti cards untested.

are 3 and 4 switched?

also, what was the 1060 speed?

Anyone use Signatum sp-mod 8 releases ? I am using skunk-jha-master miner programe and i get 29.8 mh per card with asus gtx 1070 oc and it is free guys. Do not buy their mod for %5 performance

I get 10% more with mod8 tho, 32Mhs easily.
I don't: 30.5 - 31.5 MH/s ASUS 1070 OC.

Mine is also Asus strix 1070 OC, with Samsung memory but i dont think it matters.
100%Power
+60 core  //can't get more or it would crash, no idea why most other 1070s can do +150.
-502 mem

I have only seen on profit-pool.org http://fs5.directupload.net/images/170827/fhkke7sb.jpg
I use ccminer 2.2 x86 and get 32-32.5 MH/s with Gainward 1070 OC (run between 1911@950mV - 2075@1031mV) with -502mhz on memoryclock
I have tested spmod6 run with 36MH/s but it can only run yiimp- and deckerpool. http://fs5.directupload.net/images/170827/3onzrjnz.jpg
But it not run on other pool (aika, suprnova, cwi) http://fs5.directupload.net/images/170827/h6muoqlb.png

skunk-jha *is* sp's miner, that someone put up on GitHub.  look at the startup, I believe it was spmod3
sp 5
Nobody cries about $200 for graphic card, but about $200 for miner so much tears here lol

Now, the reason for that is because many people mine to accumulate coins as long term investments!

The miners who accumulate have to sit through price fluctuations and still hold their mining rewards.

Whilst, other miners jump onto coins, during price spikes and dumping their mining rewards.

And, most people can see the unfairness of that situation!

PPl ask about my monero miner. I might release a faster miner. 0.1BTC donation and 2% fee. ETA unknown.

Anybody interested?

With the current prices, monero sp-mod (@590MHASH) is more profitable than zcash.

I just picked up 40 1060s

These 1060s do pretty well on Monero. I might be interested. I currently get 505H on a 1060 3GB

your damned if you do, your damned if you dont lol
you know whats really ironic about SPs hate towards sweepstakecoin now that cwi has taken the project over .

I first orginally learned about the coin here in THIS VERY THREAD back early may sometime when strasbourg was the dev and sp said something along these lines -

"I LIKE THE IDEA OF THIS COIN AND IM CONSIDERING MAKING AN OPTIMISED MINER FOR THE ALGO , WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK"   ive gone back to try to find the post so i could quote it , but sp musta deleted it ,,
100% true this I swear on my life ...... does anyone else remember? Was only this comment that made me look into it further and get on board lol .

Rather BIG CHANGE OF TUNE and it shows your hatred towards the coin is purley a personal issue with the developer . Its not a shitcoin , its a solid coin mate and thanks for putting me onto it way back then SP , as i mined it the whole time and its really paid off now ^^ so thankyou .
