Hi,

Anyone willing to exchange the sp_skunk release or do a group buy? I have sp cryptonite, sp spreadcoin and sp nexus mod. Looking for sp skunk miner mod to swap. PM me

EDIT: Already have 2 other people interested in the group buy so we need TWO more people for 0.01btc each and we can buy it together

We still need 2 more people to do the sp mod signatum group buy at 0.01 btc each. Grab yourself a bargain and share the cost Smiley

send me a PM if interested. Let's get this ASAP

What guarantees from you?

Same guarantees as SP. All future updates included.

Hello. Want to join to buy SP skunk.

share rejected "job not found", WTF?
pool: suprnova.cc (signatum)
chart of hashrate looks like completely random, up and down, though reported hashrate is steady.

Too hot. I have never saw my cards' temperature more than 65 C.

ICO? Not even once.
Interesting, I put intensity 25, and i gave me 5% bump (105 vs 100 MH/s). But memory consumption jump to 2,200 Mb (10x more). Weird results...

Intensity is not linear. Each intensity integer means double the threads as the previous (eg. intensity 25 has double the threads as intensity 24).

My 1080s I have to run with -i 22
My 1080 TIs I have to run at -i 21

1080 FE ~30 MH/s
1080 Non-FE ~34.5 MH/s
1080 TI Non-FE ~45-50 MH/s

Jesus, up to 91°C at 98% fan? That's kind of ridiculous.

1080 Ti's start to throttle at 84°C and even that temp is not intended for 0-24h use.

Your cards are way too close to each other I presume.

To bad with GPU Boost 3.0 we can't set a temperature limit, only indirectly by power limit and fan curve.

Dude, suprnova pool paying whats mine coin? or btc? and thats price how can be so high? do you will exchange?

(SFMBE)

Yeah, that is a custom coin with most likely a low difficulty and exchange rate which is a pure guess right now.

The global hashrate is worth about $20K-$30K / day on other algos tho...

Now the money is free, and so the people will be
its about 7$ per 1080ti per day with sp mod i guess, but there is no volume/depth on the coin, so basically...yeah calculations like that dont work.  the $/day is wayyy off on that screenshot

Still a manic miner
that price comes from an unofficial exchange.. not trusted by devs.
nothing you can take too serious

in few words, the "skunk" is CPU intensive, not RAM intensive (like ETH), right? I see that the single card uses very small RAM amount ~ 200 Mb.

yes. but when you increase the intensity, you increase the ram usage as well. In my mod the memory is read lineary with vector instructions and works good on the GDDR5x memory (1080, 1080ti).
But more speed can be added later. Saturday. Pub time.
Cheers

Found some bug with sp_ skunk_release, if in one rig there is GPUs from different vendors, 5 GPUs from Palit and 1 from Giga like I have, ccminer not working and if it working so not all GPUs(3 from 6 somtimes) are in.
2 different bat files at each vendor cards resolving the issue.
I see that your  "group buy" post 0.01btc was successful ))
No "group buy" guys, with all buy offers to sp_ pls.

Anyway, skunkmod #1: I get 44.5 Mh/s per AORUS 1080Ti at 180 watts (60%) and 51.5 Mh/s at 300 watts (100%). The default 25 intensity seems to be the fastest (100% GPU usage).

A single AMD radeon 480 does 14,5 m/s with the opencl miner. so with
2 1080ti cards in the rig and sp-mod #1 you mine as fast as 7 480 cards.
300 watt might sound alot, but 7 radeon 480 is pulling more.

but 120 watt for a 7Mhash increase might not be worth it.

lol dude that is 200 satoshi not 2900, check the coinsmarket rate, theya dded an extra digit to the end, beyond satoshi which make thing really confused, their maximum unit is 1 billions satoshi for 1 bitcoin

Yeah, I also confused the price of another coin and lost some money because of that.

I asked by why on Earth they would use 0.1 satoshis for their smallest increment and they told me:

"We think that some coins do not even worth 1 sat , and there is a clear note that * Min Price: 0.1 Satoshi"

Very annoying.
