I already said what and how much it can be improved.
Believe me, I know the algorithm pretty well.
I optimized it well before alexis (many months ago) and we reached almost the same speed. That's the streebog part, the rest is just x11.

Be careful with this miner release, In my experience it taking a lot of virtual memory and sometimes returning error and mining stopping.
But my miner compiled with cuda 8

Cuda 7.5 is faster.

Yes, i tested it now and with cuda 7.5 skein working correcltly ( no invalid configuration argument error )...
Hope sp can some improve sib.

So the alexis miner is 60% faster. I think I can add +5-10% to the alexis fork easily.

It was best profit algo and coin for me with that speed, but ~10days ago whattomine added this algo to calcluator and difficulty raised. Currently 1.55 dollar from 14.3mh and 200w from wall.
Now mining lbry and waiting for your 5th version.

x11 gost is very "hot" algo. Getting 14.3 mh with Alexis miner and have 64 degrees, with ZEC for example 58 ( same clock settings ) . And look on power consumption curve - it's very variable from 75% to 115%.

I think I will do it. Use the alexis streebog in my fork. and gain a few percent. But I think Alexis's fork is faster already for SIB. right?

I think he optimized some of the usual algos, but I didn't check if it affects SIB as well (and how much).

it was slow, but alexis replaced the streebog part (which took 90% of the time) and now it's fast.
of course it can be faster with better x11 like in your fork, but it's just some percent on the whole hashrate.
and using alexis streebog on your fork is just a little more than copy-paste.
