Question since it's based on ccminer aside modding it you don't remove any features right ? (like API, and stuff)
Also could you provide the numbers for 1070 OCed like i did (60% tdp / 195/-500) to see if the new version will be interesting ?
How does it work for donating it, just transfer to your signature btc and give you the hash TX by pm ?

Thanks  Grin

I get 310 with +150 on the core and -500 on memory. I just tested the opensource version. LBRY sp-mod #5 seems to be 6% faster on the gtx 1070 (same clocks). So not so much... but on 970 and 1060 there is a big difference. My gainward 970 is hashing +40% faster than the 1.8.4 opensource with sp-mod #5.

Ok cool thx for the feedback 6% seems indeed to be a bit on the low side, but ccminer is already very well optimized for pascal, so basically with the fee it's 3.5%+ gain, what about the others questions ? :p

This 5 version support lbry algorytm?

Yes. The only supported algorithm.

I have reduced the one time fee to 0.05BTC.

LBRY sp-mod #5 will be a free update to the donators.

it was bound to happen, there were many who bought all the way down from the initial pump

they didn't bought for no reason

LBRY has 1 276 BTC Volume now on the exchanges (more than 1 million dollar in 24hours), and the price keep climbing.
.. Time for you to prepare mod #5 , If you wish miners' fee of course...

Pretty sweet, sadly the pump will probably not last long  Grin i

307 btc pumb. +90%

I've got early acces to the client and it works good. Alot of money is invested in the lbry blockchain and the price is low. I wouldn't be surpriced if the coin does +1000%

I do 278MHS with 1070 EVGA 60% TDP +150/+600 with ccminer-rel1.8.4-x64-tpruvot (~1670MHS on a 6x card rig)

For LBRY you should set the memclock to -500.

Did some more testing and tweaking, now 291MHS for GTX 1070 (60% TDP +185/-500) (~1745MHS for 6x card rig) intensity tweaked @23.5, probably still room for optimization of both tweaking and the miner, i notice a drop of a few % in gpu usage every few mining cycle so prob opti to be done here, tried to see if it'll max gpu's all the time to run 2 or 3 instance of miner  with 2-3 cards but you mine less.

Highest profit: forget gpu, buy that coin,
Bad business: buy gpu, mine, wait
Whats the difference between mining and wait, and buy the coin and wait?

You never invested to mining hardware, 3000€ gives you a nice stash of lets say lbc or dcr right here, right now. No need to wait for months to get that same amount mined.

edit:

Don't get me wrong. I like mining, miners and devs  Grin

As always, now it is too late to start gpu mining lbc or dcr.

Highest profit: forget gpu, buy that coin, wait
Good profit: sell your gpu, buy that coin, wait
Some profit: already have gpu, mine, wait
Pennies only: already have gpu, mine, dump
Bad business: buy gpu, mine, wait
Suicide: buy gpu, mine, dump

or simply dump when lbry was at 20k and all the way low because at best it will return there

now it only look like anther profitable option besides zcash, for the moment at least...

True if you bought those gpu's, need to cover somehow. Risk is low, profits even lower, first couple of months you earn nothing, rig just looses value. Nice hobby though.

Something so simple as shorting btc week ago with 3000€ made more profit than 6x1070 can do in one year in revenue.
