You compare the P102,P104,P104 mining cards with the gaming cards to find the needle in the haystack right?

If your values doesn't brick the card you should be ok. The Hex editor is the profitable editor. Wink

You need to know which HEX values to change. Let`s wait for somebody to create something like Polaris with visual GUI.

Hamsterwheel payment plan-

This sounds interesting.  I have two 6-card 750ti rigs.  DJM34, I'd be willing to point them to your payment address for a crack at running alpha/beta neoscrypt kernels.  My rigs are Ubuntu 14.04.1, 64 bit.  Post something if you are interested.

--kyoshiro---

THIS IS NOT DJM34's THREAD--

There was once a short-runnning joke about a "hamsterwheel  payment plan".  I started it.  At that time, sp_ did a lot of open-source programming for small (beer sized) donations.  Those days are gone.

I swear ppl are making up user ID's just to make a few posts.  The above sounds cut-and-paste from 3 years ago.       --scryptr

It's a bot. They copy paste old posts from the thread and add a signature or something to generate posts for the account so they can sell it.

But is there an actual BIOS editor like Polaris for AMD? We need to modify it first before submitting.

Will Nvidia verify heavily modded Nvidia BIOS ??

To everyone who doesn't know, NVidia will verify peoples bios's, they have a site in which you can submit yours to for verification.

here is the link to NVidia bios/firmware submission form

Nvidia has opened up for bios modding. Previously you needed a cracked driver because of signature checks, but now it's wide open. (google the tool)

Name of the tool ?  Shocked

I'VE GOT NO BIG COMPLAINTS--

cryptonight sp-mod #4 (v7) 1080ti speed: 1MHASH.

With modded straps: 1.5 MHASH (And this is much faster than the $3000 NVIDIA Volta., but a slower than the AMD vega's)

if they can tweak it like they did for light version, v7 isn't that much of a barrier

They should change the pow to something else. Like lyra2z+spread / x32r chained. Wink

I think the hashrate will be cut to 25% of todays rate right after the fork. Should be profitable to mine with the sp-mod on NVIDIA as well.

Just be careful with cryptonight V7, we still don't know if it is already supported by (some of) the ASICs.
