Just be careful with cryptonight V7, we still don't know if it is already supported by (some of) the ASICs.

I'VE GOT NO BIG COMPLAINTS--

I was happy just sharing the beer.  I like beer.  Not for swimming, but it goes with pizza and steaks and stuff.  Oh, well.  The only thing that bothers me is the trolls.  They smell.         --scryptr

Those days are gone.

It's getting harder and harder to boost the performance. More work is needed than before. Alexis did the easy pickings with his legacy opensource code, and gave up when he didn't manage to beat the speed of the sp-mod's.
My modded kernels's have generated millions of dollars worth of cryptos. Who doesn't want faster hashrate or less power usage? You don't want to share the profit with everybody else right?

Hamsterwheel payment plan-

This sounds interesting.  I have two 6-card 750ti rigs.  DJM34, I'd be willing to point them to your payment address for a crack at running alpha/beta neoscrypt kernels.  My rigs are Ubuntu 14.04.1, 64 bit.  Post something if you are interested.

THIS IS NOT DJM34's THREAD--

There was once a short-runnning joke about a "hamsterwheel  payment plan".  I started it.  At that time, sp_ did a lot of open-source programming for small (beer sized) donations.  Those days are gone.

I swear ppl are making up user ID's just to make a few posts.  The above sounds cut-and-paste from 3 years ago.       --scryptr

winter is here, stay strong  Sad

Not yet... Still have to drop another $1500 or network hashrate growth at the current pace will probably do it in a month. It's coming though. New miners are extra stupid and don't have a off button. Not sure who is buying new cards at 2 year ROI, but apparently there is plenty. Just think of where cryptos will be in two years, where they've been two years ago, silly pricing.

I hope from bottom of my heart that this is coming to end this madness of accumulating gpus...

Looks as though it's there, at least for GPUs becoming available and the rush is ending. I'm sure net hash is still going to grow and profits are still going to outstrip BTC growth. Pretty sure $6k was the bottom for mainstream coins and $.1kWh before you start losing on electricity. At the going decrease, it was around 6-6.5k.

Now that bottom is going to rise as net hash continues to rise, just more slowly. Really expensive GPUs are now routinely in stock, but cheaper ones are still sold out. A 1070 is earning .00015 per day and it's still dwindling over this last week.

So, GPU shortage looks like it's coming to a end, but that doesn't mean we'll be making more money, we'll continue to make less per day until the new miner craze has exhausted their funds and maybe they'll gain some common sense.

Hi, guys what are the best Algo to choose for 1070ti spmod. Bitcore or skein+blake2s? What’s best ?
Do not dream to beat ASIC by your GPU.

1070 ti, not with 2.2.4 but poly v2 miner, alexis fork

My mod is faster than the poly v2 miner for all the cards I have tested. (gtx 970,1060 3gb, 1070,1070ti and 1080ti).  This bin isn't opensource. With more oc my mod can do 30MHASH on the 1070ti. and above 41MHASH on the 1080ti

30 mh is good if you can do them at 60% tdp, 20% faster
