Knowing that the central bank of the Philippines acknowledged the significance of bitcoin makes me feel more complacent and more assured that my investment in bitcoin will be much safer, and that I will be able to make a profit in my investment. Not only that but the way of payments would be much easier knowing that my bitcoin is connected to most of the banks in the Philippines.
yes...I hear a news that some of establishment here in philippines already recognized bitcoin.. and bitcoin is now somewhat pkpular now adays in philippines..some famouse store alrea buy and sell bitcoin as far as I know...and maybe they already recognize bitcoin as money to use in everyday living.tnx
Im Filipino also. But what i see in our country, only few people here in our country knows and appreciate bitcoin and only few companies or markets are accepting bitcoin. So this is a good news for all of us who use bitcoin. Hope this will intensifies the progress of bitcoin in our country so we all could benefit from it.

If Philippines’ Bangko Sentral Will start Recognize Bitcoin as Payment System the price should be changed immediatly. At least one Bank sees the virtual currency’s potential to revolutionize the delivery of financial services, that is also great news.

Yes, so far the Philippines has not made any actions yet to implement or regulate Bitcoin or cryptocurrency except for this public statement made by the central and create licenses for exchanges. Hopefully like the other countries, the Philippines would make other efforts to adopt Bitcoin.
I don't think that rumor about the Rothschild family is true. They may be a rich family, but I don't think they have a hold of the central bank of the Philippines. The economy of the Philippines is not that good, and it could be better had it been in the control of a rich family.

This would be a great news for Filipino bitcoin users. If this will be given more focus by the government, then the transactions here in the country will be easier and if this will be regulated by the government, then many citizens in the country will use bitcoins, and there's a possibility that many will find a source of income in bitcoin forum.
more and more countries will start regulating cyrptocurrencies one way or another, which is a good thing because
1) frauds will be reduced (many are abusing ICO's and rip-off people)

This is a good news to the people of Philippines, because they see bitcoin helps to the economy of the Philippines and gives more opportunity to all. I believe bitcoin is become more familiar and popular in the Philippines it also increases , people get interested invest and earn in bitcoin . I'm from Philippines also. Yes its good news to us! Because many Filipino heard that news they might been interested to invest to bitcoin. So the price of bitcoin will pump to high. What if big investor can read that and invest big money the bitcoin price go to the moon. Thanks to bank central ng pilipinas for publishing like that news. Many people the job is bitcoin and many (ofw) overseas Filipino workers the sideline in bitcoin. I think it will not end this year bitcoin will become popular in my country.

It's good to know that lots of Asian countries are recognizing bitcoin, it's not only going to make the lives of lots of Asian people better but also it's a good sign for the consistent growth of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. It's to be noted that people of the Philippines are very hardworking and honest and I'm sure they are going to take bitcoin to next level in terms of adoption, acceptance and popularity.
These adoptions will erode the Chinese ban of bitcoin. I noticed from last 7 days bitcoin there is many adoption has been added with the bitcoin. I thought we should be away from bank get bitcoin reach to all people. Still I worry that bitcoin should be a legal money and non taxation digital money to utilize it.
the government can be tricky. you don't wanna get them involve nor banks. they may approve bitcoin from the start and will soon bann it like how chinese did. what they can acquire by doing that is a database of crypto users in the country. its going to be scary, they could accuse you of illegal things on the internet later.
actually not yet because i am from philippines but there are no banks that accept bitcoin here, well for sure, in the future the bitcoin will be on some many banks here. but for now maybe there are few banks that accept bitcoin.
