Anyone tried mining x13

What are talking about?

I have completely no idea.

Edit: Looks like it is a algo for altcoins (something "improved" from x11, https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/marucoin-new-x13-algo-mine-now-kgwdgw-no-ipopm-exchange-570744)

As time passes mining is getting less and less profitable, don't know if there is a solution to stop this.

When mining become non-profitable for some not-so-efficient equipments, miners would unplug them and difficulty will go down. Smiley

Just like it did when all the cpu's turned off.... then again when all the gpu's turned off..... oh and then again when all the 130nm usb miners got turned off.

Yip big drop coming soon guys......

But the current ASICs are already in 28nm, do you expect the efficient can improve as fast as before?

Mining will not be such profitable very soon, I think. Electricity costs stays the same while Ghash profitability reduces.

Raise demand for btc purchases.

We now have a whole different mining scene, where large companies dominate the network.

Ita my assumption these companies uave large setup costs and weekly expenses and they are not holding btc like minera did before, they are selling into the market daily to recoop costa while btc prices are higher than costs.

Maybe once costs are covered we may see a big hold again.

Can someone give details of the FHM contract ?

What is FHA & FHM and how it works?
Harry P. - Today at 02:07

Future Hashes April (FHA) is a futures contract or pre-order for GHS which will start mining on April 26, 2014 00:00 GMT
This is the future mining power which can be traded on the exchange.
Future Hashes May (FHM) will transform to GHS on May 26, 2014 00:00 GMT and will also start mining for you immediately until sold.
Don't pass this unique opportunity to buy GHS at the lowest price on the market!
FHA, FHM conversion to GHS may take up to 24 hours, depending on the volume of futures.

If we were not goxxed (cexxed?) hashing power for FHA must be compensated lately, after the

But people say there maintenance fees are 20-30%.

It is in fact at 29.67% now. http://cex.io/maintenance
And it will keep rising when the hashrate price drops.

The fee is really high but in your opinion do people make profit with cex.io? what hash rate should i buy to make profit? Profit i mean with selling hash to someone else in a month or so.

IMHO, nope.
The FHM is priced at 0.0041 now, and GHS price (at 0.0080 now) should move towards it and eventually reach it in a month.

Prices are continually decreasing since the mining gear prices are also falling.  But people say there maintenance fees are 20-30%. Not sure it's profitable at the moment.

If you think the prices can't go any lower, or they will slightly decrease in time you could diversify your portfolio and get some.

But for the price of FHM I can get Antminer an mining in a few days.
