I'd like to ask the remaining people to please update theirs ASAP. This has gone very smooth up until now and with payments being sent out in a few days it would be great to at least have 90% of the participants on the new format

If you're planning to switch then I will not recommend you Electrum at the moment as you cannot send BTX to an old address. Unless you're going to store BTX till each and every Online store/exchange is using BTX.

Use it at your own risk.

So right now switching to electrum or using updated qt wallet is the best possible outcome.
