NotATether I also want to thank you for this "challenge". As I said, I have been running nodes long enough. It was a fun challenge and the initiative was great in my opinion.
Many people will learn from this challenge.
I have been trying to think of ways to make sure that all the people who ran the node for 14 days will still run it from now on. I don't know how, except for sending some merit if they show you a screenshot every week. But of course this is just a suggestion.
I don't want to participate in this if you do it because it will look like I ask for this merit, which I don't. But especially for low rank users this is a great idea.

It was fun actually. To be honest, I think more challenges like this should be brought up. 14 days ago, I didn't even knew how to run a node, or what pruning was, or what Bitcoin core was used for. I doubt it has pruned at all because at first I set it to 20GB, then 400GB, and currently 500GB.
Why? You'll have all the drawbacks of pruning (like not being able to rescan or import), without much of the benefits (half a TB less disk consumption).Quote

Already in November 2022. I am wondering how and why it’s already that close but the percentage is just about 82%. Does it mean that about 18% of these blocks to be downloaded were created just in 2023?
