After you reached the Full Member rank, go here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=avatar and you can add/change your avatar. However if someone lower than Full Member enter that page, it will show up an error.

any update on having the ability to add avatars back to our profile?
Full members and above have been able to add avatars to their profile since April 1st of this year. So when you rank up to a Full Member, you'll be allowed to upload an avatar as well.

Yeah, I wish we were able to change the avatar, it is much easier to remember a person on here from their avatar rather than their username
That is a very good point. Many times you probably don't realize you have seen a person post before. I know I recognize the people with avatars.

Jesus Christ is coming soon.
Q: \/\/ 7 /=?
A: This is a satirical comment on the likelihood of an occurrence. This satire assumes that Jesus Christ returning is highly improbable (as it could happen any time in the future if it will happen, and it may very well be a myth). It is could be compared to an adynaton. If you are wondering, it implies that the probability of something getting fixed when the people with power don't care is very slim (this could be seen as resembling rich -> poor, government -> people, and free people -> jailed people, and in this case mods -> users)
A: It is a statement intended to increase the post count of a subject
A: It is a statement intended to bump the Topic
A: If ur still reading this smh
A: It is a statement used to attract attention to a nonissue that people want to rally behind
A: It is a statement intended to accumulate adorers (ppl who click "ignore")
A: \/\/ 7 /= is a statement written in the pseudolanguage 1337

"Soon" here can be quite a long time, same as time for Gox to do anything "soon"
You seem to be right. Actually "Soon" anywhere can be quite a long time. "Soon" is the same as "indefinite"

This can't be changed from a hack few months ago. I think it should be back by the time the new forum software is released.

And when exactly is that happening?  Grin

"soon" is the official response lol
I believe this issue should be fixed soon also. But when is soon?  Huh

"Soon" as it'll be ready when it's ready I think.

Avatar is important, because you can easily identify the member by the avatar. Instead of remember the name.  Smiley
