Mourinho has not been trophyless during his entire time at Manchester United, it was only this season that thing's didn't go well for him this season and with the FA CUP, though his tactic was defensive initially, Manchester played way better but they were misfiring which caused the defeat.

Exactly, i think the fans should give Mourinho a break as the team was totally in a bad state when he picked it up and has gradually and steadily built it up so i don't know what they are looking for anymore? The time for the trophies aren't due yet and they should be patient and not compare themselves with the success of Liverpool.

Yeah that was a pretty slow game and both teams didn't want to give a goal , congrats to chelsea as this is the only thing they win this season and maybe even next season by not qualifying for champions league also

Won one and lost one on my even bets, and the loss on MOTM as well, so a tiny profit on my Chelsea ML win. One of the dull affairs of the season to be honest, but maybe I've been spoilt by watching all the attacking teams this season. Apart from a few flashes on excitement at either end of the halves, have to say the players looked so jaded at Wembley. Lukaku brought on too late, but that Sanchez goal was way offside. Strange they used VAR once but not all the time (still don't like the tech). Conte maintains his record against Mou and United but to win the FA Cup that way with a penalty was pretty shallow (I'm a neutral so I guess I can think like this).

I'm actually quite sure Conte will be meeting Pep for next season's opener though.

That was a good prediction, i knew this was match wont have many goals and i actually expected Manchester to win, both are having a terrible season and if not for the penalty this would have being a draw and this loss means that Manchester United did not win any trophy this year. Cheesy

This is quite true since they are wanting to do it to cap off a rather dismal season and a piece of silverware will boost them up a bit.
If they play these guys against Manchester United you know they will be going all out to win it in todays final.
As the red devils probably will not.

Chelsea may have underperformed this season but they're still capable of beating any club in the EPL at any given week granting that all their top players are healthy. They got Hazard, Kante, Fabregas, Willian, Luiz, Alonso and I guess Moses... That's a decent group of players.

As a Manchester United fan, I am definitely going for a win for Manchester United mainly because of Jose Mourinho and his tactics alone, Chelsea have had a very bad season and their self esteem is in tatters especially when they lost out to Champions League football next season.

This is not just a game of two clubs it's a game for both managers to salvage some pride after a underperforming season for both the clubs. Yes opi know you'll say but Manchester United finished 2nd but at what cost, boring slow to death football, bright stars like rashford and Martial being sidelined, I'm a Manchester United fan since I started watching football but the football they currently play I have to switch it off. I was hoping Jose would go and we get a attacking manager. Btw let's not forget its conte last match even though it's unofficial he's leaving the same way van Gull left. I expect first half to be a goalless as each one will take a defensive approach. Expect some moment towards later half of the match. Either 1 -0 or 2-1 Manchester United will win (I'm being biased I know but at the end of the day I'm a red devil fan).

Doubtful for Lukaku and Fellaini. But Mou could play Sanchez to spearhead the attack in a 4 3 3 (4 3 2 1 variation).

I was a bit surprised to see bookies slightly favouring United for this match, given his record against Chelsea's Conte in the past 2 seasons. Nevertheless, I'd still back Chelsea for an edgy win @2.8. I would say they're both going to give it all this match, though. Mourinho will probably do a surprise final game by throwing on the attack so I'm going to also put an even bet on Over 2.5 @2.51.

Matic MOTM at @24 is definitely worth a small punt (sky Sports). He'll have added incentive to play well.
