This is not the first time China has banned the use of bitcoin. The ban will only affect the price of the currency for some time, because it causes panic, but it only takes time. I've heard good information that China will soon open up and legalize bitcoin trading again.

it seems that china only tires in only a few places where the exchange of cryptocurrency because indicated money laundering while in china is still very much a place to exchange cryptocurrency.
In my opinion, China is doing this just to keep its people away from investing in the market of uncertainty. Besides, investment in gold and silver has also been appreciated. But there are also few companies which give part of their salaries to their employees in the form of Bitcoin so having said that, China is only trying to keep the technology limited and let only a few people use it.

I think on that time there is an effect but not now because bitcoin now is going up. Althrough china is  almost 2 billion population but in this time bitcoin skatered all over the world and many investors. So at this time there is no effect yet.

This can make Bitcoin price lower, because China have many BTC mining pools, plus China is large country by itself. Chinese people can change Bitcoins via other bitcoin exchanges, but China have own restrictions, so may be it is not possible.  Wink

This is obviously a bad thing! China is the most populous country in the world!
This is a big market. If the cryptocurrency is legal in China, the cryptocurrency will be invested by many Chinese people! This will speed up the development of blockchain and cryptocurrency!

I searched for this on the news (through Google), and my conclusion is that indeed the move of China to ban Bitcoin exchanges is quite bad for all of us in the crypto world. As we all know China is the biggest country in Asia and many Chinese has Bitcoin minings and are investors in the cryptocurrency world, so if their government will ban Bitcoin exchanges, then the market price around the world will be affected.

There's a lot of advantages and disadvantages of bitcoin. As we can see, bitcoin becoming popular every now and then, we see how the importance of bitcoin now. We see a lot of country is using bitcoin now, for the next year, or decades, bitcoin will be one of the popular virtual money. In China banning bitcoin can be one of the side effect to lower down the value of bitcoin. China is the one of the largest country, China can contribute a lot to the bitcoin economy.

Chinese govt has decided to ban the local bitcoin exchanges. [1] This is pretty big news considering one of large market and mining firms are located in China.
Do you think this would affect  bitcoin world and bitcoin price in negative way or positive way?  Some say china is doing so because people are bypassing the banking system and in turn the government regulation using bitcoin.

It seems to me that I though china is accepting bitcoin in there country so what happen?. But in my opinion, well I thought in this case it has a big impact in the bitcoin world or in crypto currency because china is one of the leading country today and when it comes to economy china is very successful from it. However, let's respect the decision of the government of china about this situation. But when it comes to the value of bitcoin it seems that the value will decrease because of the country banning is incresing and its bad for our community.

It seems that this will greatly affect bitcoin, let alone country like china which is one of the big country in the world where china have good economic development. If this is not prevented, then the possibility of bitcoin will decrease for a while until the news disappears.

Whenever there is this banning regardless of places there's always has effect, effect in popularity, effect in price value and the result was the panic selling of their coins for fear that it might lose and they will gain nothing.

After a ban or regulation at that time, has triggered a massive panic sale in China, inevitably the value of bitcoin also experienced a very sharp decline. For us, this tragedy is a heartbreaking story that I may never forget forever.

This a story from a long time ago. But whenever a country ban crypto currency, then the people of that country will immedietly sell off thier holdings increasing the supply of coins in the market and plummeting the price in effect. That is always a bad news for all of us. But I'm pretty sure people will pick it up since it's so cheap.

This is indeed old news, and this is very influential on the price graph of Bitcoin and other crypto at that time. China is a big country with great influence too, and with the ban Cryptocurrency exchange in the country will certainly reduce Bitcoin investors from the country.
Although it is old news, it still has a big impact on the Crypto market today, the number of investors from China is quite large, so has made the Crypto market fall deep over time. But the decisions of their country have their reasons, perhaps just one of the reasons for hurting criminals.

China could have simply put in measures to regulate bitcoins just like every country is currently doing but they chose to just ban it and I really don’t know why they decided to go through that route.
China didn't ba the crypto currencies they banned the bitcoin because they have a cerypto currency called NEO so they want their coutry people to use that currency so they are restricting the other currencies and increase the usage of NEO in their country this will give the same revenue as bitcoin do.

China is a huge cryptocurrency market, but as far as I know this year China has been supportive of blockchain technology and acquiesced in cryptocurrency.

The Chinese government has changed its attitude to bitcoin, and there will be many crypto-currency exchanges in China for some time to come.
