China which had halted new ICOs stating the risk of investment of their is hinting of lifting the ban within 2018.
Director of the Center for Financial Technology, Yang Dong, hinted regulated ICOs are coming.

The Chinese government trolls the entire crypto world. They can not make an unambiguous decision regarding crypto. The whole world suffers from this uncertainty. I hope that they will allow IСO and this will have a very positive impact on the entire crypto market.
Indeed, this is very strange. I heard only that the authorities of China forbid ICO. This is just the opposite news. If this is really true, then this is very good, it will help the whole market of crypto currencies.  Smiley

Great news. The end of the ICO ban in China means that the Chinese will again invest hundreds millions of dollars in the altcoin-market. These guys strongly like crypto-currencies. Hence, the growth of the entire crypto-currency market is just round the corner.  Smiley

On the one hand, this is positive news. But in the other hand, this news can not change the ongoing downward trend. I do not know when we will see the bottom

If that's true then maybe we can have a long uptrend this year or in the coming years. However if it's not true then cryptocurrency can still continue without them just like in 2017 after the FUD there's still uptrends.

Well, like they always say it is only a fool who doesn't change his mind.If they are willing to change their initial stance after weighing all available options then that's a good way to go.Like I always say this year is a year of regulations in the cryptocurrency sphere which we must all be ready for.

News from China has always been jiggling this young market for crypto currency. Be prepared for any statement or "duck". Many traders use this well.

It maybe a fake news, I never heard that China will legalize ico, the government holds a clear attitude toward ico, especially the main task is to ensure the finance security, I think there is no way to legalize ico for two or three years in China

Actually the new governor of the China Central Bank make a positive statement about crypto-currencies immediately after he got his seat. So this could be very real news and China will aim into taxes from all cryptos.

His predecessor was well known to be anti-crypto.

I am sure that if this news is real, then it would bring good changes in the market. China has always been considered as one of the "big markets" that any business would want to penetrate or get good graces from; it's because China's economy is so big that once it picks up one market, it gives it the boost to boom in the years to come. Since there are so many news of China doing drastic changes on how they accept cryptocurrencies in general, then it would surely give a breath of fresh air, if for once, they would release something stating their support of the cryptocurrency market. I just hope it's real news.

If it's true, then it's great news, but I don't think it will be that quick and the price on the cryptomarkets, will take ages to get back up again. Well we hold fingers crossed and hope the market will recover soon

According to several articles in internet in the upcoming months, it’s possible for the Chinese government to roll out a licensing program for ICOs, as an attempt to restructure the market and introduce legitimate ICO projects and Blockchain startups to the public for token sales and fundraising.

the regulations and legalization should be the filter for scam ICO's that appeared many lately.
if china want to legalize ICO, they must have a regulations to prevent scam ICO.

I think that is a fake news, though the leader of central bank was changed, the new leader named Yi Gang is not so friendly to crypto, I do not think he will support to legalize the ICO.

Bull shit news, cant be true only these people who are spreading FUDs to get the market down then after they have bought a lot of cheap coins they will spread good news to that the market will recover, tactics as usual from these market manipulators! China wont never allow cryptocurrencies because if they wanted to they have allowed it a long time ago.

I think this is a fake news , because if it's a true - market should react positively and become green . In addition , it is not how China works . They have to regulate everything , they will not legalize anything that can harm their financial stability , even in theory .

With all the money that ICOs can bring to the country it was amazing to me that China banned ICOs to start with. It won't take them long to learn how they can capitalize on this major change in how commerce around the world will work. The sad part is this doesn't seem to be helping the price of Ethereum. Without a doubt there was a huge bubble, but I think smart contracts will have a very bright future that will surpass anything that we can imagine currently. So many services with switch to blockchain.
