I like the idea of printing QR code on a shirt, to promote and ask donation through Bitcoin. But I don't think he's a famous football player. I ain't an expert with this game, and I don't know players name in football but looking at the picture, it seems like its just a school. Or maybe he's just a school player? Correct me if I'm wrong. The idea of that t-shirt is great, and I would love to wear one a just for casual and when going outside, that would be a good way of promotion.

Advertising Bitcoin on such grand events as football and other sports, very well contributes to its popularization. Bitcoin will attract more and more people and digital gold will gain even more supporters around the world.

More and more advertise on bitcoin for everyone to see and be enthusiastic and interested in Tongue

I rather prefer if he's using the shirt and not a real football complete team than some of you not doing anything to help advertise and expand bitcoin's informations around the world.

Either virtually or in real life informing people and probabily new investors for the market to grow even further so governments can realize this has become bigger than everyone thought.

I better look on the opportunity that bitcoin advertisement such as these can bring to the massive adoption of cryptocurrency. In my opinion, wearing bitcoin QR code will not be effective if the bitcoin logo isn't attached to it. If we are to advertise bitcoin, then we should try these kind of things or even without a qr code, just impart the picture of bitcoin to peoples mind and they will surely recognize it once time comes they need bitcoin as well.

Was he allowed to do that? Did he have any problems with the police after that? after all, China has harsh laws.
You're right, who allowed him to do that?
I don't know the context of the picture. As I can see on it, he has a QR code. I don't know it is directly a Btc address of just a payment processor with a bitcoin option.

Bitcoin is banned in China and any step related to bitcoin especially in the transaction will surely put it at risk.
Or he is against the law of China and in order to gain the support of many people he has done so.
China has come negatively with cryptocurrency specifically bitcoin. They have seen it as a threat to their people knoeing they have the most number of citizen in the world. As far as legality is concern, the guy who wore the shirt might be in jail right now, it depends on China's jurisdiction. It's sad to know that China as we expect to lead with crypto become opposite with it.
I've read they are also after on banning cryptocurrency mining.

I don't think he is in jail right now. If he knows that he will end up in jail, he will not wear that shirt in the first place.

This photo reminds me of the street artist Pascal.

On his artwork, he will put his bitcoin code so if someone wants to donate bitcoin, they can do so. And actually, his arts are really good!

No china wont and cant ban crypto mining since miners will be needed if they go ahead with their own currency. Noone is in jail its just a shirt.

I want one day for there to be an entire team sponsored by their own token or coin. That will make crypto look good. Sad too many people st involved with and supporting scams out of greed otherwise we could have these things happening. Im still waiting for a gaming team to be crypto sponsered.

Yesterday, bitcoin soared wildly. When many people regretted that it was too late to start, a football player found a new way -- to wear the T-shirt advertised by bitcoin to speak for his dream on shaky voice, and successfully won the support of many people.

There are football players wearing clothes with bitcoin logo and QR code, which represents the address of bitcoin wallet. Scan these QR codes, and others can donate money to the wallet. This two-dimensional code has successfully gained a lot of attention in dithering, and quickly spread throughout the bitcoin community.
yes then whether it will be a sign of a bull coming from china, to hell with the word china is not interested in the shirt they use whether it's a soccer player, what's the point of being shared here nobody is interested and stupid people where sending bitcoin to the wallet address on the QR code

This is a really good sign that Blockchain technology is being advocated in China. Although the Government is more prone to be advertising it's own digital version of the RENMINBI, having Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency in genera advertised also by the private sector, shows that more innovative ways are being introduced in order to bring about the mass adoption appeal of using digital currency and supporting your local and national causes etc. I think this is truly the way forward in this field, good and interesting ways to advertise Bitcoin.

This is a great way of inducing market adoption. But the sad part of it is that they advertise bitcoin and cryptocurrency without any returns, but in fact, this kind of sacrifices to wear your favorite clothes do really help, what we can get with these is the assurance that people will be knowledgeable about cryptocurrency, in such a case that if we have a huge investment in the market, we can fully secure that it will be profitable because people will continue utilizing crypto and its value will remain. But if you really love cryptocurrency, there is no need to sacrifice what you want, thus, you can wear cryptocurrency and bitcoin shirt because you love it.

First of all, you need to understand that only a single player doesn't represent a whole community, your given link showed to us a single person whether he is a player or not, his initiative is really well but you don't have any clear information about the location of that person, so we should not directly claim that China is the location of this person. I think wearing a T-shirt which is designed with the Bitcoin logo is enough for the promotional purpose, so I don't go to any argument about your link anymore, I just want to say, authenticity would bring certain credibility for any system.

In my opinion and a great initiative to advertise bitcoin certainly the photo is not the best t-shirts are a bit trivial, could i know how to make better designed sweaters and maybe phosphorescent writing, but is it a real football team?...

I think this is very creative, introducing bitcoin in its own way.  by wearing a tshirt that reads bitcoin, it shows a pride in owning and using bitcoin.  I also got 2 tshirts that said bitcoin.  hopefully these steps can be followed by everyone and more and more are introducing bitcoin in this world.  certainly in a variety of positive ways.

Damn, that's a heart-warming subject. From what I've heard, the sport scene in China is extremely difficult and people will need to push themselves harder then ever to be able to be noticed, and there isn't a lot of money on it (except when you are at the very best).

Any idea how much has actually been raised through these QR codes, I reckon it would be very popular if they played games with these jerseys, we could see live action donations, as they are playing!

It could almost end up being a super brilliant tactic, especially if you have the very same QR code printed on the same jersey copies. Then again, it could also end up being copied on those fake jerseys with a different QR code;) I always wondered about this too. You can easily verify QR codes in most other apps but for BTC it could end up being anyone's.

Still a great idea. Curious how you'd scan a footballer's jersey though;)

I personally am not too sure if it is a real soccer player because I think the OP is taking pictures in entertainment applications similar to tiktok.
and before that I also saw a number of soccer teams using the bitcoin logo on their shoulders like one of the English Watford football clubs sponsored by Sportsbet.io. it is very likely that in the future there will be many soccer clubs sponsored by bitcoin because it is a good idea to promote bitcoin through the soccer sport that is loved by many people.
