.It depends on implemented system by chips.gg IMO, as per my experience on other site the 6th stays there when I change my balance from coin A to coin B.
Probably chips.gg has different system that do not keep the gameplay on redtiger once a user changes their balance to play, so user need to restart the session on that particular game.
No other thing you can do except stay playing with btc if you want to play with the unlocked 6th reel unless chips can do something with it fast.

Would it be possible to allow playing the slots games in free mode, without logging in? I am not going to name any names but there are places in crypto casino world that makes you wager 100 times over and then maybe hit it (sometimes even can't hit it with that) make you lose money, then they force you to go to their forum, start a new account, post under that topic, and ask for a 100 dollar chest shared between 200 people.
