It depends on implemented system by chips.gg IMO, as per my experience on other site the 6th stays there when I change my balance from coin A to coin B.
Probably chips.gg has different system that do not keep the gameplay on redtiger once a user changes their balance to play, so user need to restart the session on that particular game.
No other thing you can do except stay playing with btc if you want to play with the unlocked 6th reel unless chips can do something with it fast.

Yes it gives me blank page as well when I tried to open it about half an hour ago.
I thought it was an error on my end, but seems that it is an error on chips since I'm not the only one who get the same blank page.
