Not true. The member who released the coin chatted with other members on the Chinese board https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/chncoin-litecoinp2p-192115 S/He even gave a begger 888 coins, showing some human side.

Not exactly and there is more to it. Another member pointed out ( https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.1992635 ) several hours after release there were 14,000 blocks already. At one block released per minute, it would have taken 9 days to mine that many blocks.This post https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/harvey-chncoin-192768 reports that the CNC client has a bug in it such that it releases a block every second! Explaining the high number of blocks generated and high number of invalid finds from solo miners.
All this reminds me the good old times on GLBSE. Where people were somehow eager to put big money on assets sprouting daily from totally anonymous guys, with as much as information as "just give me your money and I'll make you rich"... oh, the nostalgia.

The only joke is so much talent wasted on this board on high school nonsense. I would hope that most of you would like to see your particular coin gains more public adoption. Posts like 'virus coin', 'f-this', 'scam that' reminds the public these coins are still very nerd-angry centric. I have no clue about the creation of Chinacoin, that didn't stop me from suggesting to those that were interested how to get things moving. Too many people are sitting in a sushi restaurant yelling 'fish is a joke!!'.

I imagine the person who released this coin is sitting back and laughing his ass off at all the lemming who jumps at the chance to mine a coin with zero information at all. Why go through an effort to pump a coin up yourself, if all you have to do is release one and let other people waste their time doing it for you and then reap the benefit yourself.

I would totally back a USA crypto currency. I would hope that it is more innovative than the previous copy cat chains, but I would still back it anyways.
It would be cool to tie in a democratic type voting system like I have seen people talk about for new coin ideas. I'm not sure exactly what we would vote on though rofl. Maybe have monthly voting on the rate of inflation? the percent of demurrage? the rate at which coins are minted? transaction fees? etc?
