Well.. 54% is a tiny majority, but if they are Trump supporters that explains everything. What always surprises me with these religions is, if your God is so wonderful, why is there so much suffering in the world? Why would you want to believe in and follow such a hateful entity? It makes little sense, if there was a God, surely they would spread love and happiness to everything?

What about the 77% of the Hillary voters who think that Muslims are the most persecuted group? 99.99% of the religion-based terrorism is of Islamic nature, and even then these guys claims that Muslims are discriminated against?

It actually depends on the country as everyone have right to claim they are persecuted even in Muslims countries some Sunnis will claim they are being persecuted by the shites or the way round. So persecution is always everywhere depending on the way one is seeing it. In the US, they know what they are saying for them to agree on that position but either way what I believe is not taking laws into you own hands.

Hypocrites, they wanted all the attention of the world, though some of them are good people but some of them are also greed of power.

If the ungodly really knew how to honestly interpret the polls, OR what Christians think, they would be very inclined to become Christians.

Cool

Oh it develops. It makes no sense, but it does. Every time science comes up with something new and proves it, church has to go and reinterpret their holy book, otherwise they are left with absolute contradictory nonsense. So when they figure out that stars can't fall from the sky or that a great flood couldn't have happened or that all life on Earth actually evolved and that there was a big bang and the whole universe and billions years before us, they have to say that it was all a metaphor. Kind of beats the purpose of a holy text if you can't know what it says, if you ask me.

I guess religions died long time ago, now there is a handful of ,what we call now, lunatics that take every word from the book literally. But new religions risen with the same name and peacefully overtook their holy sites. People just believe in God now, they don't really have a religion other then the name itself.  It is all the same thing nowadays, they all believe in God because they need someone to turn to in hard times, to get the courage, it is a same thing they believe in, there is someone that looks over them and will reward them if they do good. People just carry a name of their religion as some sort of a family name, a heritage, but there is nothing really there anymore. Religions died with democracy and science, there was no place for it anymore.

Christians used to be much more than other religions, but they all the same begin to fade with time, because religion does not develop as distinct from science. I am sure that soon they will completely disappear.

There are plenty of calendar systems, but the Christian one is so dominant that even most of Muslim countries have to use it if for many purposes. It is hard to be included in any international business if you can't agree on the date. You can't track cargo shipments in different calendars, so if you want to trade the Christian calendar is what you use, since richest countries use that calendar.

I think we should change the year. Why not? We should change it by a lot so people don't confuse the two. Adding 10 000 years was a somewhat popular notion, because then agriculture started and civilizations became possible. But I think that 12 017 still could be improved, since it still shows traces of religions, but I wouldn't mind.

Personally I would prefer if we added 10 000 years to UNIX time, but that it just me Cheesy

May be in some of the Muslim majority nations. Everywhere else, they are the ones who are indulging in persecution. When an earthquake struck Nepal a few years back, these Christian mission groups were distributing food. When some Hindus asked them for help, they told them to convert first. When the people refused to do that, the pastor told them that he will not give them any food.

2017?
That is such a weird number, I wonder where we got it from. Was it 2017 years since Earth existed, since humans existed, since we figured out medicine or agriculture?

It's the number of years since their christian god was born.

2000 years later, we know no such god ever existed.  But what do we do?  Change the year?

If you ever meet someone that thinks that Christians are having a hard time, just ask them what year is it?

2017?

The whole world counts years with Christians. I understand that they would say it is 2017 since something important for them happened that many years ago. but what are the rest of us doing? You can ask a scientist what year is it and he will always tell you that it is 2017, kind of funny isn't it?

New poll shows the majority of Trump voters (mostly christians) think Christians are more discriminated against than Jews or Muslims...
(note: nobody even asked if Atheists were discriminated against... just saying)

Wow... just wow... how deluded can you be?

How exactly are christians being discriminated against?  Are they forced to bake a cake for a gay wedding? No... Are they forced to have abortions? No... Are they a minority? No...

In a country of 80% christians... they still think they are being discriminated against?!?  CHRISTIANS HOLD ALL POWER IN GOVERNMENT AND WRITE ALL THE LAWS!!!

WTF?!?!?!?

Why do christians have such a victim complex?
