DanielDaniel had won a bid on a Item, but was only able to pay 10 BTC of the amount of the winning bid. He had an important party to goto... I agreed to refund his 10 BTC and went to the next highest bidder.
In fairness to DanielDaniel, he did ask if it was alright that it could take 5 minutes to transfer... I said that shouldn't be a problem... the 5 min had elapsed... and the bid on that item released the *Secret Item* So the pressure was on...
In this case, Transparency is desired, so I will post the PM as 'no' Personal Information is in it.

If I were to host something similar, I would not feel right taking the VIP status because the 50 BTC was not my own...
It was his own. He basically resold 100 BTC worth of merchandise at cost, and donated half of it to the forum. It's no different than if he had simply donated his 100 BTC directly in the first place, except he chose to let the community get something out of it (being able to buy retail products for Bitcoins).
