Can't be done. The coin is still being mined and is dirt cheap on the exchanges. The only solution is to carry on. Unless you are prepared to give the theoretical equivalent in bitcoin or litecoin to those who mined BEFORE your little announcment and can prove it. e.g. no compensation for those still mining and no compensation for those who tried to buy up all the cheap coins for a few dollars.

The real victims are those of us who trusted you and mined PRE-announcement. Those who continue to mine and continue to buy cheap coins are not deserving of any compensation - they know the story, they buy and mine out of a hope the coin will spring back up and they can dump for a profit.

+1, agree. I will toss in 10k CIV toward a Dev with skills to make this happen. (using an escrow until migration job is complete). If others feel the same way and want to chip in maybe a Dev would step up to the plate. The community has made it clear that they want to move forward......without the current Dev.

This thing is being absolutely pounded by SCRYPT ASICs right now - Look at the hashrate for the two bigest pools, around 120MH/s - look at all the pools on the OP even - and yet the coin has a net hash rate of 3GH/s.

An individual or group is mining nearly 95% of CIV outside of any pool.....
