Damn, just saw some big ones go by...a 15btc reward and now a 17btc reward block.

Sure would be nice to catch on one of those!

There's a few data centers here, many of them are looking for end-users!

I'm at the Infomart Center, which is where Linkedin's west coast servers are at.   They bill more for the actual amp usage and internet vs the actual power being used.  Have never gone over in my space with six miners.

We'll I'm drooling at the 0.06/kw rate and the time of use:https://www.portlandgeneral.com/business/power-choices-pricing/pricing-plans/time-of-use/time-of-use-pricing pricing will need some math maybe. Summer looks best to switch to this structure.

Hoping to submit for my licence this week and look forward to growing out of the garage and another rally in market to power back on and sneak that lucky s7 back on the rack till the s9i arrives.

.06 is definitely doable....I like that price a lot.

If I have 10-11TH/s,
How can calculate my profit with ckpool?
Who have experience with similar hashrate here?
Thanks.

easiest way to look down the list of active users.. for example:

#92 is ~10th, and his projected payout each block is 0.00377245

Now, that's provided he is at the 5n limit and you are basing your 'profit' when you get to the 5n mark (~8 days as stated in prev posts)

Yep, with that kind of hash power....central WA is where you want to be.   Mine's in Hillsboro, but I only have 77.5 T/H and I can get there in about 30 minutes if need be.

How much is the power in the boro? I've been looking at mid and off peak hours with PGE might be worth starting an LLC even with four asics.  ..

...Still our power is expensive which is odd since Bonneville Hydro dam is here...
Given that the dam is competitive in 8 states, proximity is mostly irrelevant. Not to mention the fact that the $300 million in expenditures is going to go up in the next 7 years for "expansion" and "replacement".

Tell you wife to stay off crap sites that don't take scale into account, dump all you can into mining, and get ahead of next year's electric price increase.  Wink

What site do you recommend profitability? I would love to pour $20k at least into mining BTC and maybe another 10k into GPU's but it's hard to communicate the value of volume and with ROI's at least on most asics is far off. I would love to buy now while the pricing is cheap.

Also, do I need more rank to link a URL in sig or am I just a BCCode newb .. ..

try ...your link...

and  not the way it is above as it won't show if I do it correctly  it will link instead

I did that and it reformats it to "[ url=http://www.minefarmbuy.com]www.minefarmbuy.com" (space front and end of course).

What's the site you use for forcasting profits? or have you set up something of your own?

bitcoinwisdom works it has lots of issues but I know all the work arounds and do them.

you need realize 2 or 3 jumps is pretty accurate  once you go past that nothing is that accurate.

This is the reason my wife asked me shut down the home mine, the noise we have managed well but the profits aren't there. I just a have a few GPU's and will be trying out stick miners here soon and pop those on the pool. Still our power is expensive which is odd since Bonneville Hydro dam is here. The last few bears I mined through and held through to a bull but the rough april/may here hurt my little four asic set up. Also the company finally let me use a buyers coupon that was donated and never used right before expiration so I got another s9i fairly cheap a couple weeks back, which pulled the reserves I unfortunately would have used for the power bill this month.

It was better that the wife didn't know so much, but now she's really interested in mining. Which is a change from boring the shit out of her. We might look at a larger set up and find some cheap power here in NW if we can or get units hosted but that could be a long way off. I suppose I could run something in the attic without her knowing but I would prefer to stay married. I'm optimistic type so I feel rebound is close to were I'll turn everything on again. Even now punching these keys BTC pricing jumped up about $300. Wink

If you can't make it work by going north of the Columbia River, it may not pencil out for you...as that's some of the cheapest electricity around.   May need to eat the power bill for a few months and collect your BTC to see if the price rises.

I'll look up north here, thanks. The plan I've been developing will hope to add 600th/s min. or equivalent of $200k in asics per year if I can get investment. Then I can tell mfb they'll need a new social media troll. Or maybe i'll keep the gig, it's actually pretty chill. Just have them 1099 me or something. I'm planning to jump back on around 7.5k usd should be enough with asics and gpu's in profit to appease the mrs.

....So we are near the bottom of profits for the s9
Every reason that, last year, I started building out a GPU farm and getting into the Stanford distributed computing project. The GPU profits allow me to continue paying the $1800 power bill  Tongue

Hi to All! Im new one here, and I have some question regarding payment, profit and other question Smiley I was always on p2p mining... but now there is some problem with block found.. but for electro need to pay every month. So im looking for a new place where to mine. I found CKPOOL. But i cant found some feedback or some information about payment, about profit. I have 7pcs of S9 Antminer. What is profit of 7pcs S9 on ckpool? Payout is when the pool found the block? Thanks
Read pages 70-76 of this blog and that will answer a lot. What is your estimated hash rate that will be running on average?

100TH
It will take you approx 8 days to get to 5N. Once at 5N you will receive a payout every block since w 100TH you should maintain your status in the top 100 payouts. Track your derp on the CKPOOL site to track rough estimate of payout.

full ramp up in 8 days

then 100/160000 x 12.6 =  0.007875 a block  and we should hit 2 blocks every 3 days   or in 30 days 20 blocks which would be  0.1575 coins in a month

all of the above numbers are subject to pool size growing or shrinking I used 160ph to 160000 th pool size.
also all numbers are based on a fairly low diff jump which may or may not happen.

https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty   if you plug in 100th in this link they have you at 0.1527 btc for a month as they do not use fees in their numbers

we had a big jump last time 14%  this time we may do 4% but  at current prices  diff may go flat soon

at current prices the s9 earns about 90 cents a day at 10 cent power
it earns about 3 dollars at 4 cent power

So we are near the bottom of profits for the s9
