Question:

Why my AfterBurner does not allow me to change memory clock?

Win 7, Crimson 15.12

4x R9 390 (3x XFN and 1x PowerColor)

Should I unlock smth in AB or what Smiley ?

You might need to tick the Extehnd official overclocking limits and the Diable ULPS in the general setting tab.

Hello,

I'm using 2x R390 mining eth and sc using this command:

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eth-asia1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal
-epsw x -eworker -cclock 1100 -etha 0 -ethi 8 -dcri 40 -dpool "http://siamining.com:9980/miner/header?address=
&worker=" -dcoin sia

eth: 48
sc: 930

Is there any way to increase those speed? Any parameter at the command to be changed?
Appreciate for any info.

Thanks.

Play with dcri, optimal should be between 35-50 (You can adjust it with + and - keys while mining) , you can also try -ethi 16....and maybe -cclock 1120 -mclock 1250?

Check settings from other people stats...

Sapphire 470 8GB 24.3 / 445 MH/s , 1260MHz steady clock, 0.95v core, 109w 88.5% ASIC Quality
Powercolor Red Devil 470 4GB 22 / 405 MH/s, ~1140 Mhz varying boost, 0.97v core, 77.9% ASIC quality
Mining Eth/Sia, 80+ Bronze PSU, 85% eff, ~130 for each card, 155 at the wall, 109w GPU only draw

The 8GB version mines Eth faster, (8GHz memory vs 7Ghz), and has more stable boost (at least mine does), but costs $40 more.

The GTX 1060 3GB just came out, for $200.  1 out of 12 CUs disabled vs the normal 1060, same clocks and memory.  Normal 1060 gets 20MHs Eth, it may be a decent card for similar price.  Anyone getting one feel free to post!

I run some reference design RX480 8Gb cards with default GPU clock/voltage settings (for some reason, these controls are completely locked in WattMan whenever a mining software is running) and the VRAM clocked to 2250MHz (max allowed) with default RAM voltage (I could try under-volting the RAM but I don't think it would worth the hassle since it draws significantly less power than the GPU to begin with and it's overclocked, so it probably needs the voltage anyway...) and I get 27 + 405 Mh/s (ETH+DCR) on each with Claymore's software (v6.1) on Win10 RS1 + Catalyst 16.8.2 beta.

The PSU is rated at ~90% efficiency at ~50% load (and that's roughly the current situations with the 1200W rated PSU drawing 780W from the wall with 3 of these cards + the 30W idle platform [measured alone], so it's ~60% load), so the cards take roughly ~225W (according to measurements and calculations) which is exactly their maximum theoretical limit (150*1.5=225W with the PowerLimit set to +50% over the original 150W TDP limit).

increase the mem to 400 at least, you can boost the speed for eth to 30MH

MSI GTX 1070 getting 27MH/s with DaggerHashimoto and    0.38 GH/s with Decreed  dual mining

is this good?

what is the power drain ?

Can you try with siacoin too ?

Power drain is at 45% according to MSI Afterburner...GPU temp = 60 Celsius and CPU TEMP = 55 Celsius
