I am getting a slower speed of 10 H/s with a MSI rx470 8gb compared to a MSI rx480 4gb in Linux.  Is this consistent with what everyone else is getting?  I thought the 8gb cards should be out performing now?  different levels of - i had no effect.

1. What I notice is that in watching Zcash manager that the hash rate of the cards varies by 10% or so. the r9 fury from 408-449 (running at -I 7), and the r9 390x from 804-845 (running at -i8). I've played around with the intensity settings and these produce the best "average" hashrate in my rig. Is the variance due to mining difficulty? Is this normal?

2. When looking at Flypool's payout statistics, I notice that some blocks are "missed."  It will say payout "to block" 74157. the next entry will say payout "from block" 74159. There are usually 2 and sometimes three blocks missing during each payout. Anyone know why?
1. variance is due to many reasons, practically normal
2. Pool can not find every block so not pay for every one. Just for found blocks...
ppl: read a bit about mining, pools, blocks...
It is like you drive a taxi without knowing is your car petrol, diesel or electric

Thank you for the reply. When I drive, I just like to turn the vehicle on, put in "D" and press the pedal.  Wink

Just noticed about a problem in linux, don't know if was already mentioned, but need to be fixed asap.
I'm getting this error continually and is filling really fast my log folder in /var/log/kern.log specially, also some in syslog

Fixed, will be included in next update.

At Nicehash:
the SSL port is 33357
the non SSL port is 3357
Claymore has 33357 for dev fee and it wont connect I didnt even no nicehash has ssl where did they put the info Thanks

edit: I googled it and found is I wonder why it wont connect to port 33357 for the dev fee I didnt try it on my setting but will

my syntax as follows mining at NH and I haven't seen any errors for Claymore dev fee. Anyways, Claymore may need to double check, if I missed anything.

-zpool stratum+ssl://equihash.usa.nicehash.com:33357#xnsub -zwal -zpsw x -wd 1 -dbg -1 -r 1 -allpools 1 -tt 75 -tstop 95 -mport 3333
Thanks those settings seam to working and I'm getting accepted shares on ssl now if I could get my rates where there supposed to be I'll be happy

edit: I googled it and found is I wonder why it wont connect to port 33357 for the dev fee I didnt try it on my setting but will

You should ask nicehash about it.
I'll shoot them a email if you have 33357 for dev fee and I have 3357 both ports are wright it has to be on there end

@Claymore

I remember reading something about having to contact them if you have x amount of miners connecting to a single port. Since many use this miner. I'm sure it's being banned by nicehash. Just a thought.

I have a question about the operation of my rig and one about mining on flypool if anyone can shed some light on them it would be appreciated!

I am mining with two cards a Sapphire r9 390x 8G and a Sapphire r9 Fury 4G (I like Sapphire cards), using 15.12 drivers, and the "updated" Claymore 12.2 (Thank you Mr. Claymore)!

1. What I notice is that in watching Zcash manager that the hash rate of the cards varies by 10% or so. the r9 fury from 408-449 (running at -I 7), and the r9 390x from 804-845 (running at -i8). Any thoughts or help is appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

says not enough memory intensity value reduced (3). what memory??
version miner 12.2 after last update
http://i64.tinypic.com/28iwyle.jpg
From the readme in the install folder and post 1, also search on virtual memory

For multi-GPU systems, set Virtual Memory size in Windows at least 16 GB:
"Computer Properties / Advanced System Settings / Performance / Advanced / Virtual Memory".

On 12+ on some cards I've not been able to get enough memory to go above 5 even using 66gb of vm
