Great stuff, Claymore - many thx!

On 9.1 I got on RX 480 (Nitro+)8GB around 230 H/s.

On 9.2 I get now around 250 H/s, but on the LAST card (highest GPU number) never more than 213 H/s.
Swapping card, disabling/enabling cards, changing riser cards etc. didn't help...

Anyone experience the same behavior? Any suggestions? Or a bug with indexing some buffers or something
like this in v9.2?

Cheers

If you`re connecting to the miner with Team Viewer or any other remote management program , the card that uses the monitor might have lower Hashrate like that Smiley Usualy if you logoff the team viewer it will work normal

my system running 1400sol/700watt= 2sols/watt
what gpus ?
i have 1460 sol/s at 940watts at the wall - 6 x rx480

Can you share what brand cards you have and also is it a custom rom or if not what settings your running.

That could be the R9 nano.

Im getting 277 h/s with my RX 470 8gb.

One of my 290s is doing 290 h/s but the other does 220 h/s. Will need to investigate that.

Thanks claymore.

WOW!  290 Sols/s on a 290?  Is this a ref model?  What clocks are you using?  I can't get more than 260 out of mine.
260 sol/s?
You should try flash your cards with Stilt BIOS.
I get 310 sol/s with ref R9 290 Stilt BIOS, 1100 core, 1450 memory.

I have 4 R9 290 Ref Models... This would be great!  Could you point me in the direction of the STILT BIOS you used?
You can find his BIOSes there. I used V44 version, but I had to rise voltage in Afterburner for stable work, so try V38 for safe. Use latest ATIWinFlash (2.7.4 in my case), it works just fine.

Same, I'll give it a whirl on my 290 REF. Whats the wattage per card with bios mod?
I don't have any wattmeter so can't say exact numbers. GPU-Z says "VDDC In" 130W most of the time with rare peaks up to 190W. I think real consumption somewhere around 200W from the plug.

Hi Everyone, first post in here Smiley
I Have a question about my rigs, i've got 2 rigs of 290's and one rig that have 5GPU (3x290's and 2x290x) and this rig only works at 100% with Claymore version 7.0 with the new versions i've got warnings from my graphics driver, i allready tryed to put interface at "0" but have the same results anyone had this problem???

Put on stock or underclock.
Check watts (not enough strong psu)
Check risers

Reduce the frequency or reduce the intensity.

I'm only have Stilt bios on them, not overclocked in software, the intensity already tryed to put at "0" about frequency how can i reduce this? Smiley

You may have to increase the voltage.  Sometimes undervolting works and sometimes overvolting works, you just have to test.  The Stilt's bios for 290 have lowered default voltages except for one, which has a higher default voltage. This one is to be used if the others don't work, I have had to use the higher on some cards but you can reduce the voltage with afterburner to get it just right. If you're increasing voltages for the first time use small increments so you get the hang of it, and watch your temps.

Thanks for your reply i will try to do that thanks Smiley i will put the results in a bit Smiley

It is better to under clock as the power supply might not be strong enough. If you have many cards, it is better to lower the clock.

Well if you underclock then you move into another DPM State which lowers the voltage by the same magnitude as the stilt lowered the voltage in DPM State 7.  That is why it's 'easier' on the PSU.  He needs to tell us his PSUs

Using Flypool, contemplated switching to dwarf but have seen some posts about them going down so sticking with Flypool for now.

On a related topic Version 9.2 has my Sapphire RX480's 8GB running about 257H/s while my Sapphire 4GB 270x's are running about 155H/s. HD 7970 is still about 200H/s

Clock settings for RX 480 are GPU - 1425 and Mem - 2100
Clock settings for R9 270x are GPU - 1165 and Mem - 1500. I found with the 270x increasing the GPU resulted in higher hashrate but lowered when increasing the Mem clock above 1500
Clock settings for the HD7970 are GPU - 1050 and Mem 1500.

Hello friends,

I have 5X Sapphire nitro rx480 4gb on win 8 , the latest driver 16.12.2 , no overclock no bios mod.
When start ,all cards run at 220 h/s but after 5 min slowdown to 170-180 h/s.
I try few combinations 1395/2195   , 1306/1900  but no result.The people report 240-250 h/s for those cards.
Can you help me please with proper settings and driver version.

Thank you very much !
Don't use newest ReLive driver (16.12.2), it is slower.  Use 16.11.x or older.  If you have bios mods, you must use 16.9.x through 16.11.x, as 16.8.x and earlier check bios signature.

I use 16.9.2 for R9 nano, it works well.

that's called thermal throttling, when your cards reach high temps the clock speeds goes down to prevent damaging your gpu

increase max rpm to 3000 in trixx or watttool

There is the proof - https://i.imgsafe.org/949d2c9995.jpg

Got confused with temps and wrote them the other way around but it is what it is.

GPU1 is my RX 470.

That's why people were calling you on it as the numbers didn't make sense.
Now they do so everyone can move on. 220 h/s is quite normal.

He said the speed is 277H/s.

Yes, he got confused.. Let's move on..

Yes, my apologies. 470 has always been listed as GPU1 but 9.2 changed that.

I jumped right into it without checking any further.
Press "S" while miner running to show stats, and it will show what cards you have...
