asrock H81 costs new in shop 83$ used MSI Z97gaming 5 costs 105$ so do the math, besides when i want to resell it later it will be much easier.

You misunderstand what I said.  People that run Asrock h81 pro btc don't put a multiplier on. They just run with 6 gpus.

People that use multipliers use cheaper mobos.

Also I didn't realize you were in Poland. I know your costs are a little bit higher than mine in the states.

ill be blunt, You pointed me 3 motherboards with 6xpcie and one motherboard which i already mensioned i know of just to offer me Your product and i asked about none of those.
What i asked is MB with 7xpcie that someone already has/had and it works with 7gpu with no problem (i already have MSI Z97 gaming and its working great but has limited supply where im from), not 6xgpu mb, not additional multipliers and especially not complete rig for sale.

Try MSI Z77 GD55 or 65 (NOT 45!)    if you use a celeron g1610       then with risers all 7 slots work fine.

I am very interested in a Z 170 Mobo which can run 6 or 7 gpus.

Is anyone running a Z 170 mobo ?

I have tried the MSI Z170 and the ASUS Z170 models and had the same issues along with burning one out after undervolting some of the gpus.  After hours of trying got 5 gpu's to work, but I will NEVER get those motherboards again!  I eventually took the motherboards back.

Guys, which MB did You test and recommend for 7gpu rigs? Beside MSI z97 gaming 5 that one is doin fine.

I think there are a lot of guys running 7 gpu are using a cheap ATX mobo with a PCIE 1x - 3x multiplier board.  It's a little splitter card that plugs into a 1x slot and has a companion board with 3x pcie slots. You can get them for around $30 on ebay or Amazon.

6 gpu guys run asrock or biostar h81 mobos with 6 slots.

The Asrock H81 mother board is good for the 6 GPU. With that motherboard and 6X RX 480, you need only 1000W PSU.

I know he posted a link to his rigs Smiley

But why would you buy an expensive mobo rather than a multiplier board?  What is the thinking?  You're doubling your mobo cost at least by trying to find a fancy one that can run 7 cards rather than a cheap one with multiplier.

BUT.. I have three cards .. Yet it only displays Fan and temp for card 0 .. Shouldn't it display for all cards ?

Remote desktop is the cause.. put batch file shortcut in startup folder, reboot but don't remote in for a few minutes, let the rig start mining first, then you remote in and the temps/fans will show for all cards.

Someone in chat was asking me for this .bat and thought I should post it here also. The .bat simply deletes the log files from Claymore miners. Mining a multi-algo switching pool can generate a TON of them in a day or too. When you want to clear out all the logs, just run the .bat and you won't have to delete all the logs manually. CHANGE THE PATHS TO POINT TO YOUR DIRECTORIES! You can also set this to repeat or run on a schedule, but I'm not going to explain that.

Code:
:start

cd H:\Users\Me\Downloads\Zcash\Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v8.0 Beta
forfiles /p "H:\Users\Me\Downloads\Zcash\Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v8.0 Beta" /m *log.txt /c "cmd /c del @path"

cd H:\Users\Me\Downloads\Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred_Siacoin_Lbry AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v7.4

Funny, so I've installed windows on one rig, Win 10 Pro, especialy for Claymore 8 and my 480's and like 10 years go, Win freezes completely on a random basis Smiley

Just one of the many reasons serious miners prefer LINUX.
Why, cause "Linux doesn't freeze"?

 1) LINUX is infinitely more stable than Windows (which isn't saying much).
I have LINUX machines that have run with no outages (hardware failure, shut down to physically MOVE the machine, and power outages excluded) since before Windows XP EXISTED - literally.
The only Windows machine I've EVER had go a year without crashing was a NT 3.51 SP5 machine - vs MORE THAN 20 YEARS for some of my LINUX machines that were running the same user programs.

 2) If you have a power outage, your miner running under Windows won't restart when power comes back on 'till you LOG IN MANUALLY (I have yet to see any miner program that could be run a a service).
LINUX makes it easy to set up so the miner will restart automatically after a power outage.

IMO the only thing Windows has going for it are that the overclock/fan control programs available for it like Afterburner are a lot better.

This leads me to belive that you have used windows for less then a day...
+1
My Windows account on the rig don't have a password, so no log in requiered.
I have set "bcdedit /set {current} bootstatuspolicy ignoreallfailures" (in cmd as admin) So if the Windows restart, it will not be stuck in the "repair tool' and will boot normally
And I haved added the shortcut to my miner.bat in the "Startup" folder, so it will start automatically
And last thing, If the claymore miner crash, the reboot.bat is "shutdown /r /t 5", so auto restart the whole rig

With that, I never have problem on my windows rig Smiley
