Got a rig running 2x7970 (dualx and vaporx) at only 700/1375mhz,  crimson 15.12  Huh
122h/s and hwinfo tells me 90/110W per card, stilt bios. whatever i do i can't go higher 125h/s on this rig at regular speed.
edit: if i consider only the biggest value on hwinfo, tells me 70/80w per card.
It looks like older chipset like lga775 make cards run a little slower here, even with xeon 4x3ghz inside and the same amount of ram (4G).

Another rig with asus 7970 CUII give me 145/150h/s each at full power (120/140w max for each one) on core i7 760 lga 1156, 1100/1650mhz.

i have one mixed 7950 issue, one mines only 0.02 H/s while other one mines 120 H/s default settings undervolted,

using 16.11.3 latest drivers i guess in win 7.. same other card mines instantly any other coin, but in zecminer, this card will not mine
whatever i did, do i miss something,

thanks clay, great work.

Bitcoin may be the TCP/IP of money.
two of my asus 7970 dc2 are doing 100+
my powercolor 7950s and 7970s are doing 95-99

that's fantastic  Cheesy

Dude if you got the ASUS 7970 DirectCU 2 with HYNIX you should mod that beeiatch and get 140 Sol/s. Its the most stable 7970 I got running now.

Mod with my bios and run at 1100/1500, you might get lucky and be able to do 1100/1575 and get 150 Sol/s

WHAT?Huh Shocked Shocked Shocked I am so digging this tonight,
thanks

and yes the vram is hynix on both of them
but unfortunately all powerclor are Elpida

update: my dc2 use HYNIX AFR rather than MFR, so I read Stilt's pot that AFR is properly calibrated

Stock 295x2, -i 4, 1100/1500, 320 H/s
Stock Nitro 470 8G, -i 4, 1350/2100, 155 H/s

In the 295x2, your running 1100 clock, 1500 mem and how about power limit? I have same card and getting 290ish.

0%. Haven't touched power limit. I use TRIXX to overclock. This is on Win7 x64 Ultimate, Crimson 16.10.1 if that helps. Temps are 70C and 67C, ambient 26C.

Maybe your card is throttling? How's your temps?

Temps not an issue, with ETH I was at 71-72, with ZEC its much better at 59-63. throttle does not kick in till 74. Same win7x64 ultimate, same 16.10.1. Using the default AMD setting to OC. What CPU, RAM and MB are you using? I have rigs with low-end Celeron and others with better MB's and AMD 6300 CPU. Several flavors of each

This is my work PC, not a dedicated rig. Small form factor Dell Optiplex 7010 (Ivy Bridge Q77 chipset), i7-3770 @ 3.4GHz, 2 x 4GB RAM dual channel PC3-12800 (800MHz) Kingston. It had two empty PCI-E slots, so I decided to stick two risers and run two cards (470 and 295). I might replace the 470 with another 295 if I find one, or a Fury or Nano to maximize hash. Free electricity. I power the two cards using a Corsair RM1000x on the side. I tried using a 3 way PCI-E x1 splitter to run more cards, but the PC wouldn't recognize the cards. I'm also mining the CPU using Kost's nheqminer (AVX) with 6 threads (~20 Sol/s), leaving me 2 threads for work stuff. While mining the CPU the clock boosts to 3.7GHz.

Have you played around with intensity? Maybe -i 4 could be overwhelming your setup?

What are the fastest Windows 10 x64 Radeon drivers for 290/x? Windows 10 installs 16.6 by default.

I used the second latest Crimson version. 16.6. With a custom modded BIOS and straps, I get about 176 - 178 Sol/s for a single 290x in a 3x rig.

Hey,
after I switched from zcash to eth claymore miner all of my rigs giving me can't allocate dag (-4) ?? any idea what happened (all variables are set, I mined eth before zcash)
Reboot in between. Clears the brains out of GPUs

I tried, also I tried power off/on - same thing...
they do not work

280x  ~120 H/s
480    ~160 H/s
290x  ~166 H/s
390    ~180 H/s
fury    ~200 H/s

win7 x64

16.10.3 driver

all stock bios

with over clocks

i feel this gpus can still hash higher, temps are have not gone up  Cool

What is your power usage on the cards? Please can you tell the GPU-z wattage values?

Thank you

gpu-z don't show watts in sensors to my fury, 290x, 390 and sapphire dualx 280x

vaporx peaks at 82w and the 480's peaks at 100w something, they are fluctuating.

Thanx. GPU-z on RX480 you can click on the Watts sign and it will show min, max, avg etc .. set it at avg and just wait for 1 min to get good average value. Just 2 cents Smiley

correction, its my sapphire dual x 280x that is displaying watts not the vapor x

gpu-z sensor watts:

280x is about 60w (average)
480 is about 80w (average)

Im running the newest version of crimson and tried a bunch of different driver installs. I get no video unless i jump it i'm pretty sure. I'm sending in for RMA i don't want to mess with it anymore. Spent 8 hours messing with it already. Stock rom is back on there. They shouldn't figure out it was flashed.
I'm using an i7 4770k. And a 3rd gen i5 something K with similar results

Those are impressive stats. Yes you are using a good processor so higher hashrate is expected. Did you use DDU to clear every trace of driver before installing Crimson 16.10.3?
