Since its total PITA to look at 700+ pages, does 120h/s with RX460 2GB seems good?
sounds about right for stock. you could probably get a bit more unlocking to 1024sp and tightening timings.

Thats actually unlocked. Why isnt there a comparative table, like for XMR....

The XMR timings are not suitable for ZEC, i think its read based, not write...

Am I correct, thinking that this miner is only for AMD GPU? And it doesn't support NVIDIA?

The ZEC miner does not support nVidia. The ETH miner supports the nVidia.

I checked the first page of the post and have gone back several days worth of post to see if I could find the answer but no dice.

Does anyone know if Claymore's Zcash miner is going to be able to mine Zen tonight at launch?
I have read on the Zen page that they believe it will need a patch to be able to. Just looking for confirmation.

Thanks

Fail to plan, and you plan to fail.
@claymore  time to lower the fee? Don't be greedy. You know is very easy to write code to bypass your fee system.....

Yeah, threaten the guy making shit you use... and who has little reason to continue because he probably makes more in a month than you ever will.

Do you think before you post, or do you have some kind of brain interface that just spills the shit that goes through your mind?

making $100k a day is not a fair payment for a quality software. I believe quality software should be paid for. I don't be believe in open source crappy software. As a software developer I like to be paid for my time. I pay the software I use. I don't hack software to avoid payment. I don't use hacked software. We all call Microsoft greedy. We all call Apple greedy. How can you not call someone working out of his garage greedy? ZEC is marching towards being in par with BTC, it wil only take a couple more banks giving the seal of approval to the technology. So is only fair to lower the fee to be in par with the pools or he may find himself having to fight with a first year college kid writing a proxy server to bypass his fees and making the software available to the general public

If you really take issue with it - make another miner (preferably closed source to not leak ideas he could use) - which is good enough to cause his users to move to yours...

That's how you do it. Making something available to bypass his fee (or threatening to) is below the belt. You just don't do it.

Don't bother with him. Whiners aren't doers.

for people who have problem with claymore fee you can use EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner.

NVIDIA is better at efficiency (hash/watt) and you can have huge hash rate per card like 1080ti's ~ 700 sols

and this feature... Wink

Version 0.3.3b
Added option --pec power efficiency calculator.
Added option --fee developer fee control.
Use miner --help command for more information.

guys...time to own both AMD and NVIDIA!

Could you please explain the --fee option EBWF_?

You can set size of devfee in percentages --fee 0 no devfee --fee 2 - 2% --fee 1.5 - 1.5% etc. By default fee is 2%.
was NVIDIA fan and would love to get myself a 1080ti rig, if i had the spare cash, cards still well expensive but lways better quality than AMD

is there any cheaper Nvidia cards we can use?

1070 and 1080

Am I correct, thinking that this miner is only for AMD GPU? And it doesn't support NVIDIA?
