I think page one pretty well tells the story. The switch to a token is likely so people can use the new online wallets.
the vision is clear and its just to bad the Dev apparently spread himself a little thin. Making manual trades I imagine he couldn't just give a bunch of people access to the wallet so they could help, lol.
