When the voting for the first coin end?
EDIT: Sorry found the answer
May 5th
What is the go with revival of GPUcoin, if it ends up winning the voting.
For the three coins that are selected (#1 gets the most focus), we will approach each respective community to find out if they're actually looking for help and find out what they need.
1. In this process coins can still drop off, if we find out that respective community is against it, the dev is still active, or if it is simply dead.
2. We will start a new thread for the coin to be able to change the main post
3. Our technical team will index technical fixes.
4. Our comms team will communicate the takeover and keep the communities alive.
I am just writing the quick history of GPUcoin so you guys can get an idea of what is happening with the community and the coin itself and try to make a decision if you plan on doing something with it.
The "CEO" name is Jaymes Reilly who has registered the business as an LLC and he raised an IPO in order to buy GPUs and sell them on
https://gpucoinstore.com/ for GPUcoins. With the IPO he managed to buy 2 batches of GPUs and because he didn't take advice from the community and his team some people took advantage of the way the site figured out the GPUcoin price for the GPUs and bought GPUs at lower costs. He continuously did not take advice from a lot of people with interesting ideas and marketing background. He was also not active at all and did not reply to even his own team. After being away for 3 weeks he finally replied recently saying that he has used all the IPO money to buy GPUs and that he now holds GPUcoins with no way of selling them to buy more GPUs and has no idea on how to fix the business model and is asking for advice. Pretty much everyones opinion is that he should step down and let someone else take charge as he has proved to be incompetent to run a business plus he always complains of not having enough time.
People have suggested him giving ownership of the site and gpucoins he owns for a bargained price and let someone else to re-brand the business and try to make it succeed.
If you guys are interested in trying to revive the coin, try to contact micryon and the web dev hendr1x and of course Jaymes (hopefully you will get an answer from him)
