Old coins are safe indeed, but the current wallet accidentally creates a separate folder for your coins and a new wallet. This will be fixed, so it automatically connects to the right folder.

Best to simply wait for the update

your coins are fine as long as you have your wallet.dat with your coins in it

This version of the wallet contains an error in the name, making it unable to link to the old version of the wallet.dat. Small fix, probably.

Just creates a new folder in Appdata\Roaming. If you move your old wallet.dat into the new folder you should have no problems...

Easy fix but I'm extremely tired. Will take a look at it tomorrow.
