Even with a long ROI, I'd still find it a nice experiment.

with 100mill difficulty, which is a very pessimistic guess the roi on this units is 3 months. which difficulty do you gues for october?

dont know why is everybody crying if they dont get back their investementmoney after 3 weeks...

this isn't a risk, this is a sure loss
the best thing to do right now, is just to wait, until asic are shipped without a "pre-order tag", so when you will buy one unit, it will arrive in one week at max
there is no need to hurry up, because price/power will adjust with difficulty, therefore you will pay the same for a 5 gh/s unit with 12M difficulty, or an unit with 15gh/s with 36M difficulty(just an example)

the problem is that i pay roughly 2 btc for a 4.5 giga, which is good, but only for TODAY difficulty, but when those miners will arrive at my home(1 sept, by your estimation) they will be just like an unit with a power of 1GH, and this is bad
this is the reason why pre-order are retarded

just try buying an 4,5gh miner in stock for 2btc, good luck.

no risk no profit, think about how long these unit would make profit if everyone could buy it on amazon.

Hello,

so the idea is to purchase 16 chips (1.29BTC) + 60EUR (which is transfered also in Bitcoin I am assuming? @0.64BTC) for a total of 1.93BTC. A 16 miner would get around 4.5Gh/s?

When would we expect to receive these miners? (this month? next month?)

Just to be certain: if I order in this group buy I could have the chips by somewhere in August right?
Should I want to send them to the miner assembly.
I would be looking at having the miner by mid September?
Did I go wrong somewhere?

Hi, yes, more or less. Chips + Any cost related to Customs or Import Tax for the chips in case there is any + Miner assembly + Shipment of the miner to final destination. Cheers

Hi. You can pick up the chips if you wish. The miner assembly is going to be done in Spain. But we could have out miner shipped together if you wish, and then you pick them up from my place. I am in the St Gallen canton close to the Austrian border. Cheers.
