Yes these would be a great deal if you could drop the price a bit.
They might be profitable to re-sell at this price but with mining your talking about a chance you might not even ROI, IMO.
Could you drop the price if I opted for 50 miners without a hub? (I have the intent to re-sell them, not mine, thus a hub is useless to me)

between a rock and a block!
The hubs have arrived.  ready to ship out.  They are approximately 10x6 inches in size.  definitely made so that you could stack them and create very interesting "rigs", but to stack them you'll need to visit a local RadioShack etc... to get necessary parts.

one order of 50 USBs + a Hub fits into a Medium Flat Rate box.  Or it fits a Region B box if that is cheaper for you (weight: about 4 pounds).

for those with multiple batches of 50, I'd have to work with you on the label requirements, so please PM me (ofcourse if you don't want to bother, you can just email a medium box label for each block of 50 USBs + hub).

Start with this:

Next add some USB miners:

I used this PSU which I picked up at a local Frys under $50: ( 30A on 5V ATX)

Connected and all 49 powered up! :

And we're hashing:

I hope these hubs have an internal DC-DC converter and don't use the 5V rail exclusively.  This is unlikely due to cost constraints.

Found that this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371004 is available at a local Frys for under $50.  I picked one up to test with the hub Monday.

ATX 5V at 30 Amps should have no issues powering up the 49 port hub.  Grin

Any idea what gauge the wires are? I have a 5v30a ps but the AWGis 21.. im being told too thin of  a wire =/
I doubt that is correct.  21 AWG according to the table I just looked at will handle 49 amps, but not sure at which voltage...
AWG is used for solid wires, chances are good that the multitude of wires coming out of that PSU over to the ATX connector is NOT solid but stranded, this the AWG measure isn't applicable...
Maybe there are some electricians here who can chime in...

just two questions before i submit payment,

1. how would i calculate the shipping for the 100 usb plus 2 hubs?
2. are you selling the hubs separately?

i wanted to add 2 extra hubs to my order. bring it to a total of 100 usb plus 4 hubs
1. I will post info on Monday as far as which label is required for a quantity of 50/100/150 etc + hubs.
2. Not at this time. Want to give everyone a chance to get a hub with an order of 50 USBs.

If you send payment, drop me an email, I will respond Monday with the exact label I would need from you.
Thanks!

could i send payment via coinbase? do i need to use bitcoin-qt?
You need to send from an address you can sign a message (your tracking number) with. Coinbase does not allow you to sign a message as far as I know and you do not control those addresses at exchanges.  Transfer to your blockchain wallet (or qt) then you can sign a message and prove that you sent btc in the first place.  This protects the buyer.
