between a rock and a block!
How soon is BFL actually send out the chips?

Are there any working prototype boards out there?
they said in approximately 100 days, but there are many orders being placed with them so first in, first out.  it's a good idea to get our orders to them sooner than later.

so what else will be required to create a running system with these chips? How much other costs are we looking at here? Say I go for the 8 chip option.

My initial review has me in doubt of a "inexpensive" quick solution. The board BFL released is a 10 Layer pcb which results in high production costs and lower yields. Combine that with more expensive (vs. Avalon) supporting hardware and you may be looking at similar final costs per gh/s (again compared to avalon).

Haven't fully priced out support components yet but that's my initial gut upon initial review. Anyone else have similar or different opinions?

I am interested in your group buy

Are you placing the orders as they reach 100 chips at a time?

If it is placed every 100 chips. can you provide us with an estimate on how many chips sold per 100 chips batch?

Is full payment required now?

Thanks
all orders are listed in OP.  full payment of listed price per chip is required.

Can we just pay 50% right now for the order to be placed since BFL only needs 50% deposit?

Having set up a group buy in this format (but requiring chip credits) I can tell you that what you are suggesting is not an option. This is because BFL prices their chips in USD and if OP would accept 50% down he would be personally liable should BTC drop sharply before delivery date. No serious group buyer would allow this. OP needs to collect 100% and turn BTC into USD on purchase day to protect himself against this possibility.

I'm thinking about picking up 1 or 2 chips. So, all we have to do is send BTC to your address? You don't want us to PM the order details or anything like that?

And when the chip will order when fill first 100 pieces or first 3300 pieces?
Ordered in 100 chip blocks.  As soon as 100 chops are paid for here, I will order with BFL. No point in waiting till 3300 are paid for

Having purchased USB ASIC from Canary before and also chatted with him here a few times I can vouch for his honest, quick and exemplary group buys.

You've suddenly got thousands of people who just saw "Free Cash!" show up in their BFL accounts, but not a lot of people are actually buying the chips, esp with a 100 min count.
