I know this is either asked or answered, or the answer is impossible to know.  But, does BFL ship all 100,000 Chips at once? Or, are they shipping in some sequence of order?

06-18-2013: The group buy is now open.
06-18-2013: intron has been added to the list of hardware designers.
06-18-2013: babcoccl has been added to the list of hardware designers.
06-19-2013: allten has been added to the list of hardware designers.

.......

P.S. I will add hardware projects here as they become available from forum users.

I am looking for folks who can assist with the hardware needed to place BFL chips on.  BFL has made this release: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitforce-sc-schematics-pcb-235892

For those who are working on a BFL board, see here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/consolidated-bfl-board-development-thread-239625

When are going to order the next batches? As soon as 100 chips are ordered?
Is there some kind of collaboration between you and MrTeal's buy and potential PCB projects/plans? (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/group-buy-bfl-asics-board-design-underway-223335)
Is this buy US-only?

I guess my concern is when BFL will actually ship. Obviously I don't need to bring up their inability to deliver products in a timely manner.

Read post #1 & #2...Not sure if I'm reading it right but seems like you're getting a designer to create a board for these BFL chips?

So GB is for chips but there's a potential of a working board for these chips.

And you suggest 8-16 chips because that's what the board will req.?
Yes, there are hardware guys working on BFL boards.  not all are doing it because of me, I'm not so special! LOL,  there are lots of independent folks who are working on them.
8-16 suggestion is based on what BFL has produced with their own boards...  but I'm guessing PCBs that accept 1 chip may be produced as well.

Do we know how much the boards will cost?

It seems we all want to use our credits.
Canary is there anyway I can buy my own 100 and send them immediately to you as if I bought them from you then go from there?

Ps. We have no idea how much more for
 assembly right?

Pps. I cant afford 100 chips, im will to split 50 50 with someone. You get my 42 chip discount. But you must pay up
front. This is void if canary doesn't like this at all.

If you buy your own, you can then assemble them on your own or have them sent to assemblers.
my group buy does not utilize credits offered by purchasers.  I already purchased 3500 credits and intend to use them.  there are other group buys that should allow you to use your credits, check out their pricing.

I would just caution that the BFL engine is a bga144 package. You're not going to hand solder that. You need something like this: http://www.manncorp.com/smt/prod-483/BGA-SMD-rework-station-BR790HD.html?gclid=CMCBt9m_8bcCFdKj4AodIUsAjw  to successfully work bgas although people will claim they've done it with hotplates. I wouldn't risk a $75 chip trying a hotplate though.

Avalons you can work if you have a nice smaller rework setup.

Clicked link and while loading got ready to say "well can't we just buy one of..." Hmm.. Might be a few bucks.. Though I am certain, that with designed PCB etc. the actual soldering can be hired out for fairly cheap @ volume.
Well this one looks reputable
