Tokensale Results:
We wanted to give you a quick update on the final tally of the token sale. We raised a total of $3,922,763 USD (for illustration purposes, converted to USD on January 31st, 2018, and this may vary depending on current market prices) and sold 44,994,827.96 tokens . There were over 3700 people participating, from 27 countries. Thank you to each and every one of you for making this a success!
Next Steps (please read):
Exchanges: We are happy to announce a listing on a brand new exchange, Nebula, which should be operational in February. This is a new exchange which will offer KYC and allow us to exclude persons from USA and Cayman Islands from purchasing tokens. More exchanges coming soon, stay tuned.
KYC Audit: KYC (know your customer) was performed during the crowdsale, however, in order to ensure that technology and process functioned correctly, Caviar team is starting to perform KYC audit of all contributors. This means that you MAY be required to provide additional documentation prior to the release of the CAV token. A team member will be in touch with further info.
Token issuance: We are on track to issue the token within 30 days of ICO end. Contributors will be contacted via email and Telegram with further info. We will also burn 44,994,827.96 tokens.
Legal: Regarding the ongoing legal matter with the Secretary of State in MA, we are working with legal council and are engaging with the state to come to an understanding with the hope of resolving the matter. Blockchain is the new frontier in business, and Caviar always strives to follow applicable regulation and stay within the framework of existing law.
Community and Support: Our community has grown tremendously, we are close to 1900 members in the Telegram group, which is our primary method for community interaction. We will continue to monitor the Telegram group for questions from the community, and our Community Manager will be available between the hours of 10AM and 7PM (GMT +2), Monday through Friday. During other times, other members of the community may be available to help out, however, formal support may not be available.
