Buyer has not responded, so sending on to technobit as originally planned. Okay, sale back on. Pending escrow with OgNasty, PsychoticBoy, or squall1066 - just pick one.

Could not work something out with delay after delay from the buyer.

It's not completely a fair comparison, because I was an early customer with the trade-in program. So, I am basically asking for what I paid. I am not trying to undercut anyone, but I am not try to rip anyone off either. $4970 is a fair price to me.

As I currently don't have enough funds to have the boards built (it seems an interesting deal though), I'm selling my 100 chips too. Please PM if interested.

Interesting. So you are accepting $3500 for 100 chips?

That's quite a loss over the $6000 paid for the original unit.  You don't think the X-3 will make more than $3500 over its usable lifetime?

So running some math here.  To get to 2TH/s you would need 20 chips.

So that's 5 boards x 205,00€,
20 arctic coolers (20x 29,99€)

for chipos 20x $35 (at above price)

Total 1,624.80€ or 2208.53 US Dollar for boards/coolers
$700 for chips

$2,908.53 total for 2.4TH/s (fixed! thanks bogsag)

Thats less than half of what we paid.

That looks about right but don't pay 29,99€ for the arctic coolers. They are $25 each at newegg and probably cheaper in bulk. This is not a bad deal for someone looking to start a small farm in their garage.

Wonder what the wattage will be like, with this solution.  Instead of having 2 of the official Black Arrow units, you will be running 5 TechnoBit units, each with 4 arctic cooler fans

EDIT: their site says 1W/GHs

Technobit can build within 2 weeks. I have used technobit's assembly service several times (For bitfury chips). Each time the website said it would take 4 weeks after receipt of the chips, but it only took 2 weeks (to receive the finished product). I don't work for Technobit and am not officially speaking for them. Unfortunately, I don't get paid for promoting their business.

I have no reservations ordering from or sending chips to Martin (Marto74) at Technobit. You can send the chips usps intl priority for about $60. It takes 5-6 days to get to Bulgaria when sending that way. One trick is to put the chips inside the small flat rate box and them place that box into the flat rate envelope. It will save you $5 and get to its destination faster.

If you have any reservations about Marto74 or Technobit, then I encourage you to read my previous posts about their service.

I wish I had chips to send them myself.

+1
We will also be sending more than a few chips to him for assembly, and working on putting together a bulk order.

Chips are 120GH each, not 100.

So his math is for a 2.4TH box Smiley not a big deal.

Makes me want to do a group buy, lol.

Sadly, yes. I will let others vouch for Technobit, but they did produce a working miner before Blackarrow.

TechnoBit can build it in 2 weeks but Black Arrow cant?    Has anyone used this before?
