Those who want to make the bigger part of the profit (manufacturer) should also somehow take more of the risks imho.
Until August so much can happen like chinese bumbing out cheap hardware until there is no more profit.
I mean why should they stop production as long as it is profitable. In the past weeks/months new generations were developed and produced - therefore I assume the growth has slowed down a bit as you do not increase production while next-gen is close.
Then you replace old stuff and increase production. Then network grows again very very fast..
Nevertheless thumbs up for Spondoolies and RoadStress for this incredible deal breaking the $1 per GH/s barrier !!
Regarding the diff increase i will post again this:
http://bitcoin.sipa.be/growth.png We are slowing down. Also by looking at:
https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty it seems that the grey line hasn't passed the 60,000TH/s number. Last 2 difficulties there were 2 huge spikes, not anymore.
As a miner myself i try to inform myself about the new generation of miners, but besides AM chips which performed a bit worse than they expected regarding power consumption i'm not aware of any other big project that was developed and already produced in China or anywhere else. Right now we have on the market clones with A1 chip, Bitmain chips (not sure if he is doing a new one or not) and Spondoolies Tech miners. I don't think you can develop and produce in just few months a new chip without proper funding and knowledge. Except a few companies all the other the chip developers required pre-orders for the chip development. I am sure that we would know if a new player would come to the market soon.
I am waiting for a refund from KnC too and for $12,500 i can get myself 2 SP30 and 1 SP10 which is a whooping 12.2 TH/s for just 6200W! Not to mention that you'll help a little to hastened KNC demise. This should worth a little something also
@tzortz waiting for you to just pull the trigger
