I remember NXT from back then and it was definitely a mess compared to NODE's release.

As well it took like 20-25 days for NXT to gain a big capitalization while NODE is still on day #8.  If you consider how fast BitsharesX went up, it could be possible that NODE could be booming in the weeks to come - just need the patience to hodl.

For the benefit of all Node investors here, I'd like to point out that Node accounts are not secure enough, as you have seen from all of the hacked accounts recently.  This is because Node is susceptible to brute force attacks.  Have you noticed how short the account numbers are?  There are MANY passphrases that can result in the SAME account number.

Those of you who understand how NXT addresses work will know what I'm talking about.  Newly generated NXT addresses are not very secure until at least one transaction is made, at which point one unique public key is tied to the account number, making it virtually impossible to crack.

Crypti, which is also based on node.js, allows for a second passphrase to be tied to an account number.  This is an elegant way of securing your account.

Node doesn't have any security measures like this built in.

Good point.
But node is just a brand new coin, maybe we should give it more time to improve.

NXT was a mess when it started, it had the same level of security too. NODE looks waaaay more polished in comparison. It's a diamond in the rough in my mind.
+1
just do not want to regret as Nexters selling 1m nxt for 1 btc Wink

You are not completely informed, hacked account was only small symbols simple brute force password
We have not once said that the password must contain a few characters, even if it consists of up to 10 characters
Example: Yhjk-8*&

This is the only case which confirms that you need to generate a password of different characters

Secondly we have a function that will be implemented in addition to the key phrases

They just want cheap coins, that's all.

You look just at the moment
You think that if we connect the USD / EUR all security will apply only from the phrase, in the connection of additional functions and they will be free of charge as compared to Crypti

Probably the devs cashing out.

I look at you guys, you do not lose time to breed panic
We do not sell our coins.

TaunSew, why until now you have not sold your stake?
Threedream - not in the list of shareholders it is advantageous to buy cheap
Now it is clear why this guy escalate the panic that would other-sold

Although I am not in the list of shareholders, but I bought a lot at 133,I want to know what the developers are doing, you need a stable shareholder confidence

Well.. I trusted jl777 thats why i have node. Then i trust the developers after knowing about them and finally some things that are about to happen with node which gives me even more confidence. And its obvious people with big stakes are trying tu push down to buy even more NODE and that also gives me more confidence about NODE. Next 48-72 hours we'll see a bit of movement until things get clear.

Anyway pretty nice that more than 200M node have been traded already.. Smiley

Sell after sell.. after sell... it has to be the developers who are unloading, who else has that much?  Huh

Many people had multiple millions before bter (check the member list) and I'm sure several more people bought millions on bter. Still, I think it is several individuals dumping, not just one person.

Hahaha.. This is positive for NODE. Is bad for weak hands and panic sellers ofc. But that is life. Some people keep calm and others get nervous... and others make people get nervous  Wink
