Writing the whitepaper is probably more challenging for the devs than actually developing the coin itself.  Tongue

NODE drinking game:  Each time the developers tell you they're still translating the white paper, take two shots of a liquor of your choice.

this made my day Grin

I don't mean to push the devs, don't let this thread stress you out. This was just funny as fuck to me.

I bought some node today. Let see how it unfolds.

Anyone have the address that holds the 400 million node bounty for development purpose.
At least we will know the devs are not dumping

I tried to investigate this by tracing back where my stake came from.

It originated from account 15007997926042764084.

Try searching this in the block explorer: http://nodemoney.com:19775/blockchainexpl/

You will see that this account has only received a total of 31 node.  It has sent out several million.

How is this possible?  Why doesn't it trace back to a "genesis" account?  Maybe this is one of many genesis accounts?  How do we know how much node is in this account?

Can the devs answer this? (I'm guessing they won't.)

The dev sud be transparent.. I hope we have a ans soon

I PMed SillkRoad my node account on June 21, but never get any reply.

So did I miss the train?

Looks like you are listed as a late user and are eligible to receive 20,000 coins.

Edit - Did you ever make a second node account as required?

Most coins as of late fall below final IPO price at launch, due to a lack of buyers.
While we're on that subject, the developers haven't shown any initiative in promotion yet.

If coinmarketcap had the correct available supply, it'd be #56 right now.

The available supply still needs to be updated to 1,000,000,000.

Finally - doesn't NODE run on Java? forgot - worth checking your java version though, if it's way outdated, that could be the problem.

NODE is written in nodejs http://nodejs.org/

Wallet 0.9 crashing on Win7 64  Angry

Is there some trick to get it working, like remove some file from the Node folder or change any settings etc.  Huh

delete nxtl folder in c:\ then retry

Tried it, but still crashing.  Cry

I had to do some troubleshooting in the past.. there's stuff in ~/appdata/local if I recall correctly - try taking it out; also try a reboot..

Seriously?  It runs on Java?

That would just be the UI and it's a total guess. May be mixing it up with the early nxt client.

Did all that, still no luck... i'll try 1.0 version when it's out, maybe it will work... Smiley

Also - I'm sick of all these awful party Gifs.. Seems to be a reflection of some user's desire for instant gratification in the markets and generally in the cryptosphere. I suggest you all calm down and carry on.

I don't have a problem on Win8/8.1 64bit. Works great except after a while of inactivity, then it loses connection.
