Any news on exchanges?

as stated MULTIPLE times in the thread if you would care to look back or even the post before you. btc38 have already said they will add node once the client is stable and the api is released. im guessing that goes for all exchanges not just btc38

The OP, looks awesome but the links are not working!

I know that you are busy, but update them asap, cause we are loosing potential NEW node members!

Also, i have spare time - So i would like to help out.

Lovey Ya :*

Thank you for being proactive with our project!

Updating them doesn't represent a problem! We just got carried away with the wallet development, cause its the priority at the moment!

Thank you for pointing that out!

If you have any other suggestions, please don't hesitate to tell us!

Sure
... i was wondering why you guys are not actively promoting Node!

And after receiving the above reply - it hit me - you guys are working on the client, and probably are waiting for it to be stable and then to make something big out of it.

I agree with this decision, i mean it is no point to sell an unfinished product, or an unripe fruit!

Agree!

As a coin we had our ups and downs! But currently we are facing up! Our devs are making everything possible to release a solid client ASAP And is my role a bystander to continuously motivate them to do DA JOB as fast as possible!

You've witnessed the way our team handles client updates and error annihilations!

We are more pumped up, than ever, because we are almost almost there! And once we have a 100% client we will push deadlines and marketing - which is very pompous!

That's exactly right! It won't be long now, BTC38 has already stated they will be adding NODE so soon enough we will not only have an awesome client but also an exchange to trade on as well. I'm sure even more exchanges will be adding NODE when the client is finalized.

Exciting times ahead!

Thank you for the report! The devs got it, and they will try to fix this in the next version!

Version 0.4 had an core update and was released for 2 days to test the intervention! A new one will coming soon!

I'm looking forward to your testing! And future reports!

Aha -  now the cryptic '2 days' piece makes sense - thought he was referring to v0.01 - Thanks Koop - looking forward to the next release.. Would have preferred if this was considered an open beta rather than using live coins.. Makes me nervous to see so many iterations so quickly upon launch. Can't wait until we have a stable release Smiley

This version was released on 2 days

This is version 0.04 - the one that was recently released. Not the first release. I've been using 0.02 and 0.03.. 0.03 started crashing in a similar way and I didn't have time to troubleshoot. Hoped that it would be fixed with 0.04 but no such luck.

Java is v.1.7.0_67, OS is Windows 8.1

Troubleshooting:
- Tried a system reboot and running NODE with no concurrent applications
- flushed out java cache and cached apps.
- removed nxtl folder from ~\appdata\local (note: new folder is created before crash)
- extracting and running a fresh copy from the .zip downloaded (note: windows prompts regarding security/access to network RIGHT before it crashes -- doesn't give me a chance to choose)

Sequence of Events:
1. Open Node client
2. Window opens with white background and large text 'Loading...' in top left
3. Windows Modal: 'node_v_0.4_beta.exe has stopped working'

Feel free to pm me if you want me to try some extra steps to debug

No need of exchange until NODE is in beta stage.

I agree, don't think that rush any exchange is the best idea, if the client is finished, stable and the network runs smoothly, the exchanges will come from (nearly) alone.
Very sure about that  Wink .
Better doing things step by step.

+1
you wouldn't buy a car from a showroom that is in the process of still being built and if you did it would be cheap as hell. better to wait for the end product.

Some cars are made to order dude and are very expensive. But yea i get what your saying lol
