Amen. I think it seems to have slipped plenty of minds that there's an actual coin on the verge of being released.
Wow, what a mess. I just looked over the thread briefly and its getting a little silly. What in gods name is going on here?
1. I'm not a sock puppet, I use tor. Please remove the P52 notation.
2. I looked over the people I have been grouped with, and aside from maybe one of them, they ARE definitely puppets. I can't believe how many people did this. I expected that a few people would sign up twice, but this whole community just got cut by a 1/3 by the looks of it.
3. This community is falling apart. What surprises me is that, from the looks of it, it is not the puppets doing most of the damage. It is real people with real accounts that are doing nothing but arguing, attacking, and plain spreading fud all over the place. Those of you that don't have something good to say just refrain from posting your garbage. The coin is about to launch and I would expect to see ideas floating around about how we can make NODE successful. There was drama during the sockpuppet cleansing period for NEM, but noting like this. It was mostly the socks causing an uproar. Like I said, this appears to be real members of the community doing this. WHY?
4. I have an idea, let's start brainstorming RIGHT NOW as to how we are going to make NODE a success. I will start.
a. Much value has been attached to NEM having a one click install wallet. Will we have that?
b. Let's rename the forum - NODE.
c. I think we should take 10 puppet stakes and have a giveaway at launch. A real simple one, put NODE in your signature, and sign up at the forum and make one post at our forum and you get 2500 NODE. If we used 10 stakes and gave away 2500 NODE to have people put NODE in their signature for a week, that would be enough to get 2000 new people interested and instantly involved in our coin.
These are just ideas, so add to them and come up with some of your own and lets get this coin turned around.
5. The Devs need to let the community know what the new amount of NODE per stake that is going to be distributed to the members. I read the post about the 500,000, but it is much larger now with all the puppets gone, even if we do the giveaway.

They do have 2% maximum cap for single investor. So they do have to try to monitor it somehow like Node does. Same good idea, preventing too big stakes.
2% is close to 100 BTC. It won't be a problem. The problem is "fair distribution" model where everyone gets "equal" amount per share. That model encourages sock puppets, and it was a problem started by Nem. It doesn't work.
Like you can't make 10 accounts on Bter and invest 1000 Btc.

I have been just watching this circus for a while now and all i can say is if you don't take the coins left over from the socks and add them to the distribution of those that actually followed the rules and have supported you thus far, then you have no sense of common decency or integrity. Your so called auction gave you a nice little chunk i think its more than fair to reward the ones who have supported you in this circus of a IPO.
