How it would be death? It would be big dump and for plp opourtunity to buy cheepies. And he wouldn't be able to cash out money eitherway.
I can watch snapshot was taken using data of blocks on 11th December 2017 is that mean everyone having Bitcoins on that specific time automatically becomes eligible for forked coins ? Why for snapshot data of three months was used without prior announcement or there was some pre-announement before and I don't know.
No, there was no pre-announcement, we wanted to make a surprise. And we waited for a long time with the announcement, waited for market to stabilize.

This is quite weird. People know what they have in their wallet NOW, because they can check. But how would someone know which of their BTC addresses were containing BTC three months earlier? This difficulty will surely not help adoption.
However, I must say that the idea of removing Satoshi's coins in quite funny, I'va too always thought at that Sword of Damocles as a major problem nobody want to see.
It's debatable of course that Satoshi owns so many Bitcoins, but are you sure that no large organization owns close to as many Bitcoins as Satoshi? We can't know and I think there is a possibility that concentration of ownership in Bitcoin is already high regardless of Satoshi's coins.
But everyone knows about Satoshi and monitoring the movements of his funds.
Sure, you can monitor the funds and see when they move. What do you think will happen when he moves 500,000 Bitcoin? What if Bitcoin is worth 10 trillion dollars in the future and Satoshi moves 500,000 Bitcoin?
There are definitely some problems with that because literally anyone could be Satoshi and we don't know whether it might be very bad that one person or organization owns so much of a potential global currency.I think that there will be an unprecedented collapse of Bitcoin prices, this is a psychological problem, but as the price increases Satoshi's personality will become more and more important, maybe he will be the first trillionaire (even potential or virtual). So there will be a big difference between whether someone will move their 500k or whether Satoshi himself will do it.
I know this is an old story but I want to bring it up again. It is not only that someone moves 500,000 Bitcoin, it is also important who the person is that moves 500,000 Bitcoin. If it is Bill Gates, people might calm down. What if it's some crazy politician like the boss from Korea? That would be Bitcoin's death.
