I placed an order for 32 chips, now I want to get more chips and pay for the required boards.
My question is, can I order more chips for the second batch. And can ı use the same payment address for the boards. Also sent a pm about this.

I asked the same question, basically you use the escrow address to add more chips and then, when you are ready to order the board, send a PM to ask for a coupon to order the boards without the chips.

See : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.2537689

Just make sure to mention that you are adding more chips to your address.

24 hours after Auction ended still no official results and no BTC address. Anyone knows how to pay and get official results from auctioneer? And better question. Do all bids count? I don't know how much I need to pay. It was 2 minutes longer then it should be since forum clock is off by 127 seconds.

Bkkcoins has some good news for us:

NEWS FLASH!!! NEWS FLASH!!!

My K16 is hashing with 1 chip.

It's not giving a correct result nonce yet but I'm almost 99% sure that's due to errors in precalc code or maybe I'm shifting in word order backwards.

I soldered an ASIC on the board this morning and spent all day twiddling this and that, mostly getting the clock config right. Then bamm I saw something that looked like nonce bits coming out but they were stunted little bits trying desperately to reach high. But the twinkle was enough and I went through the Avalon reference design again to check and realized I'd not used the correct pull-up value for the result lines. Somehow I f'd up and spec'd 100k resistors instead of 470R. So I quickly removed them and soldered in some 1K that I had here. And the bits sprung forth to their full heights. I was totally excited and hopping around my work bench. Even my wife was in to see what the big commotion was about.

So... next step, test the UART receiver, and muck with the send data until the right nonce comes back.

BTW I'm running at half clock b/c no heat sink attached yet. The chip gets slightly warmish to the finger. With only one chip and half clock you have to set the scope trigger and hold the probes for a while until a nonce is found. I counted about 4-8 seconds but of course it depends on what point it is in it's cycle. One chip at half clock (128MHz) would be about 33 seconds for a full sweep.

2013-06-20: Chips for batch 2 are secured! Order window closing in 10 days! (30.06.2013 23:59:59)

Does this mean batch 2 will close on this date regardless of the number of orders?
Will the order be placed on this date and the 10 week count down start?

@t13hydra & http://alphahpc.com

1. Why does international shipping price for 1 complete miner is 0.7 BTC?
It's almost 1/3 od the miner's price. Isn't there a cheaper option to ship inside the EU?
Maybe you could ship via Romanian Post?
http://www.posta-romana.ro/en/posta-romana/tarife/tarife-servicii/Marfuri0/Internationale/Colete-postale-cu-confirmare-de-primire.html

2. Why at the checkout I should fill Billing Address, altrough there is only Bitcoin Payment available?

3. How much will cost shipping only 16-32 chips (ordered here) to Germany?

Hello again and sorry for being such a pain in the ass.
I would like to know about delivery:
• which kind of service are you planning to use for international shipping?
• why i didn't receive any email after i choose the "customer-side shipping" to set up my shipping?
• are you storing our shipping addresses in a secure way? some burglars stole avalons in these days, using EXIF or databases or whatever we don't know.. just to tell you Smiley

Hi t13hydra,

I already have an order for 32 chips in Batch 2, I am trying to get coins for 16 more chips.
Would it be better for me to order it in this batch and then order the boards on your website?

I don't want to add to the confusion and order some chips here and some chips on the site, and then order some boards.

What do you think is best?

FFMG

Hi there,
Your proposal is perfect. Ortder the chips from here and then order the boards from the site. I'll create you a coupon code to use to have a discount for the boards.

Regards,
Steve

I have read through the first post and I still don't get it.  Huh
I understand that you take 0.081 and multiple it with how many chips you want.
But I don't want just the chips you know...

Basically what I want is: chips + k16 board assembled ASAP.

Do I go to your webiste or can I join this group buy somehow?
The thing is on your website it says delivery is in September..

Indeed, the delivery is in september. You can go to the website and order from there, it's much easier.

News!

20-Jun-2013: Enough chips have been secured to guarantee all orders will be delivered (independent of the Batch 2 order state). Order window open until 01-Jul-2013 00:00 (EET, Bucharest time). There's a countdown timer in the 1st post to make this easier to calculate.

This is great news Steve, keep up the great work

Auction time!
There are 224 chips for sale from the first batch! The starting price is 0.09 BTC for each. The auction ends on Sunday, 23-Jun-2013 22:00 (Bucharest time / EET).

Please go to THIS THREAD and bid in the following format: No. Of chips @ No. of BTC offered for each

Example: 224 @ 0.09 (resulting in a total of 20.16 BTC, paid in 24 hours max)

To recap, the chips will arrive in August. I've already received the sample chips from Avalon. If there is no payment for the chips after winning them, they will be offered to the next highest bidder.

Regards and good luck!
Steve
